Thank you for making me feel better about POR, I've been feeling a bit guilty because I'm kind of insisting that we stay on site and not in a fancy shmansy villa but hey I'm the trip co-ordinator and what I say goes...end of story(because remember 'I want fabulous that is my simple request ) . I'm still hoping and wishing for the BC/Poly combo but as I STILL haven't heard a dickie bird from the Tax Credit morons then I need to think budget, budget, budget Do you have some picies you could post of POR for me to get me in the mood ?

TBH I'm with you, I would definitely rather have my own space in a hotel than share a villa, and just for you...............

And some towel animals we got!

Oh thank you girlies I have to admit even though I have delux aspirations POR looks blissful . I realy don't want to go down the villa route because I think it would be just too 'in your face' with the other family and to be honest it just wouldn't feel right if I was a visitor to WDW and not a resident. Does that sound really weird ? Yes I know it does, but that's just me, I'm weird !

I have to admit I'm having fun telling the smaller kids in the other family about things that they can do in Disney. We got back the site link for the makeover/photoshoot that Becci & Chloe did scared1: they could pass for 17 in some of the pics) and Chloe's wee sis now wants the same thing done. So when her mum was saying to her that she was too young and couldn't get it done until she was 12 in stepped CM Wannabe Kirsteen "Do you know that in DTD you can get a Hannah Montana makeover..how cool would that be?" ....and it has started, how long until they regret asking to come with us

I totally understand what you mean by wanting to stay on property. I can't imagine being outside those gates again! I know some people don't have the means to always stay on property so I don't want to offend anyone. But I've been there, done that and don't want to look back.

The HM makeover sounds great for Chloe's little sis! They should thank you for your wealth of info!

Woohahahah(supposed to be a scary laugh)...did they really think Big D was joking when he said I'm obsessed ? Too late they've booked their flights. I think I've made it pretty clear that the McDonald like to have a lot of holiday alone time and I'm pretty sure they're of the same school of thought. I'm kind of hoping that there might even be some adult alone time , they watch ours one night and we'll return the favour (Big D's jonesing for a couple of wee mummy daddy hours here and there but I think he's pushing it)

Packing.......and packing......and packing.......

The weather forecast around here is nice all week which means the kids can wear shorts to school. So I probably won't have Jon & Chris packed until Thursday. But as for myself & Emma, it's looking good! Bought new sunscreen yesterday. Oh, and last night I had a dream that I forgot our bathroom bag with all the shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. so we had to stop at Wal-mart and buy everything again.

Funnily enough I'm not so keen on the packing for the trip to Gaerloch

OMG Kirsteen you're staying in a caravan we stayed near Dumfries a few years ago in a caravan and it was horrid, sorry I know you don't want to hear that, anyway it was August but the girls went to sleep every night wearing hoodies, PJ's, socks etc basically everything they could put on

Oh don't Jo I know only too well that I'm not cut out for staying in anything that isn't at least a b&b . The caravan has all the mod cons, it's more like a mobile home so at least we don't have to share facilities and stuff like that. The weather is going to be the big problem though because if the weathers nice it should be okay but if not (and hey it's Scotland, you do the maths) we're basically screwed . I have to keep telling myself it's for the greater good, if I have hell this year and don't complain I'll achieve my own personal Nirvana next year....in 390 days to be exact

I can't believe how close I'm getting to my trip!! It will be here before I know it. I'm already starting to panic that I won't have everything ready. Why I don't know because I'm more organized for this trip than any other.

30 pack water
new sandals for Chris
2 new prs. of shorts for Jon (he's growing like a weed)
deodarant

I still need:
For the car:
New brakes (Nate's job)
Antifreeze
Windshield wiper fluid

Shampoo/Conditioner
Body wash
Cereal for the am in the studios

And I think that's it!!

Nate changed the oil in it over the weekend so I'm glad that's done.

I think the panic thing is just a by-product of all the excitement . It sounds like you've got all your bases covered just a case of counting down the hours now (once you drop below a week you count in hours....it's the law ).

Kirsteen our caravan (it was a 3 bed mobile home) was inbetween our last 2 WDW holidays, actually we were really lucky because that was the summer with the bombs on the planes and Gatwick basically got shut down, we were quite pleased with our caravan then
