Just wanted to celebrate with you. When does you plane leave?

We are taking the red-eye and don't leave until almost midnight. I am actually liking that we have tomorrow to do any last minute things.

I ran a half marathon once in 95 degree weather, so I think I'll be able to handle walking around in it!

I'm more worried about you! For someone who thinks "80 degrees is cold," you're gonna be in for a shock when it dips all the way to 67 degrees at night! Pack your parka.

I was kinda anti-red-eye until I talked with my friend who rarely posts here, Keith. Anyway, now that we are doing it I am liking the idea of not having to spend an entire day traveling. Michael and I will just go with how the kids are feeling after flying at night; either rest and hit the parks later or go for it and hit the sack early.

Thats what I was thinking. I don't want to spend the day traveling and not really be able to do anything on the day we get there. I thought if we traveled in the evening/night then we could sleep in, crash by the pool or just do what ever we felt like, but we would have the whole day. I have read Keith's report on Marceline, but it was already closed when I read it so I could not comment. I want to go there now. It is only 4 hours and 15 min. away from Omaha. Also I am always over pack. I feel like I need to be prepared for what ever might happen.

I am lucky enough to have a child who will sleep any where so I know mine would sleep on the plane, and I can sleep anywhere too. My dh on the other hand is a very light sleeper and while he can sleep on a plane he doesn't sleep well.
