If the murse is wrong............link to trip report on last pg, post 520.

Lol! Yeah, my 16 y/o daughter expressed no concern for my well being whatsoever. But the 10 and 8 year old boys almost broke my heart!

Boys love their mamas. :goodvibes Girls on the other hand.....................

I was able to quickly distract them with talk of what treats I would bring back for them. Lucas really wants marshmallows made up at Goofy's. Do you guys think they would keep for a few days? I mean, because they are all covered in chocolate and goop? I know people on the food boards are always talking about how they were eating these things all week.....

Get them on the last day and they'll be fine. :thumbsup2 Last year Chloe chewed on hers for day. :rotfl: Ask them to wrap it tightly.

You are practically ready! You could leave right now!

:faint: Almost. :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

I am freaking out. Just had dinner with the kids and now they are playing outside. I am thinking I should go walk a few miles to burn off a little of the nervous energy! :hyper2:

 Chloe and Gab's flip flops are a teensy bit too small so back to the store I go. I got them eco friendly flip flops made from 100% recycled material. :thumbsup2

If you wanted to be truly eco friendly you would walk to the store and kill two birds with one stone!:thumbsup2 (this is coming from the person who works at the end of the blvd they live on and really should ride a bike to work but still drives everyday)

I was up at 6 am watering the veggie garden. :hyper2:

are you secretly on crack?????

Stepped on the scale this morning and I am officially down 22 lbs! :yay: Now keeping it off will be a struggle on vacation. My plan is to:

  • refrain from soda
  • stop when full
  • walk, walk, walk
  • limit sweets or at least just have a bite or 2, no complete desserts
  • once off the DDP order kids meals
  • save calories for booze

drink water! that's always the trick. and the walking helps TONS! the saving calories for booze is a very good plan! :thumbsup2 but remember to enjoy yourself!!!! i was so scared i'd gain weight at WDW after i'd lost some of my weight in 2007 but i actually lost a pound! i think it was from all the walking.

:rotfl2: I didn't think of walking. Now I have to return them and they'll have to print out a new receipt. Paper wasters.

::yes:: :rotfl:

:thanks: for the sound words. I drink about 64* of water per day (minimum) and am a little nervous about getting enough water. I carry my work mug everywhere when here but can't while on vacation. I will bring it for the room.

I am hoping not to gain but you are right, we'll walk a ton. Tracy and Michael are bringing their running shoes. I am not a runner though. I was thinking about bringing a yoga DVD. I can't imagine that many days without any yoga. :guilty: Or I can take an early morning walk since I am 99.9% I will be the first one awake even with the time change. :hyper:

i heard that they did yoga in the morning on the beach at the beach club. but that was awhile back - not sure if they still do it. i'll search and see if i can find out anything about it for you. ;)

this is all i could find:

i bet since it's warmed up now they may offer it. it's worth a call to the beach club to find out! i'm not sure what the policy is if you're not staying at the beach club, but surely they don't have to know....as long as you're staying on property!

:worship: I will call as soon as I get to work!!! :thanks: You rock! I didn't think it would be an option.

let me know if you do it! i had mentioned it to anna when we went in december but it was impossible for us since we stayed off property that trip and we were only there for 4 days. i bet it's awesome!

I didn't see any mention of yoga at the Beach Club but it looks like the Dolphin and Swan may offer it. :surfweb:

Hi everyone!!!

I LEAVE FOR WDW TODAY!!!!!!

But, you know, it hasn't really sunk in yet. I think once we are all in the car, heading down the interstate, it will finally seem real!:yay::woohoo:

Don't know if I'll get back on today before we leave or not. I have to finish a job with Nate that MUST be done before we leave.

Teacher Appreciation was a hit. But I crashed last night at 9:30. That is unheard of for me.;)

Oh, Jo, I was at our PTO meeting last night & one of the girls there was talking about WDW with me (she's going in Sept.). Anyway, we were talking about the Mom's Panel & she had asked you a question. She said you answered it so quickly & your answer was great!:thumbsup2:goodvibes
