I would probably give it a shot (certainly over the Mara, but I do't like the resort CS places). The thing that gives me hesitation is that the cuisine is Indian and we have tons of great Indian places where I live. Jiko or Boma (with more African flavors) would be more of a draw to me because they are more unique. I have been to both several times (last time Jiko had gone downhill, but that's a story for a different post).

Also, I like my Indian food really spicy, and I'm not sure Sanaa would reach this level, given Disney food tends be more tempered to please a wider variety of tastes.

Yeah, they make their food a bit milder than it probably should be by default, but if you request it spicy, they have no problem with turning up the volume.

I voted Yes, but it's actually the opposite for me - we are staying at AKL because we want to eat at Jiko, Boma and Sanaa! We would have eaten there anyway, but since the three are on our list for our 6 night stay, it didn't make sense to stay anywhere else!

I eat at Sanaa even if I don't stay there - and for the food, not the animals outside. Although having a crowned crane come to the window and dance while you have lunch is interesting.

If you like spicy go get the bread service and order sambal and garlic pickle. Then you can put the sambal on whatever you order to kick it up a notch.
