If Soarin didn't exist...

Would you do Living with the Land if Soarin didn't exist?

  • Yes - LwtL is a fun attraction in its own right

  • Yes - but not every visit

  • No - I wouldn't do this even while waiting for Soarin

  • No - I didn't even realize there was another attraction in that building

Definitely would, it is one of me and my daughters favorites at Epcot :)
However we don't do the circle of life attraction lol

Of course. One of my favs as a kid, and rode it recently and appreciated it even more. Although without Soarin', that building would feel kind of empty, if another attraction didn't go there.

My kids, DS8 and DD6, love this ride. In fact, we just took my in-laws there a few weeks ago, and the kids were so excited to tell Grandma and Grandpa all about how everything is grown.

It's a must-do for us every trip. :thumbsup2

I first visited EPCOT, yes EPCOT, not Epcot in 1983 and it had a major impact on me as a young man.

I miss the old attractions. Original Figment, Original Living with the Seas, etc.

No characters in EPCOT. Please.:headache:

Absolutely! Living with the Land is one of our favs! We always have to ride it two or three times when we go to Epcot

Yep I love it, sometimes I even ride it twice on one trip!

Living with the Land is one of my favorite rides. However I haven't been to WDW since they did away with the boat guides and replaced them with recordings.

Of course on my last trip, my mom, sister, dd and dn all thought it a snooze. However I think when dh and I went years ago he enjoyed it.

I love the Mickey pumpkins and the fact that it's inside and cooler and quiet etc.

YES. Living with the Land is a must do for me if I'm at that pavillion, but Soarin' is not.

Yep. I only rode Soarin' once, and it was fine, but nothing to write home about. Living with the Land is a must do.

LWTL is one of my favorite Epcot rides. As for Soarin, I hear it's bad for asthmatics, and Circle of Life wasn't too good.

I love LwtL...

More so cause it's the only ride I ever have break down on me and escorted out of. Since that was my first WDW trip I feel I owe it to LwtL to give it the love I never got to give it back in 1988 :rotfl:

LwtL was our very first ride at WDW, so it is sentimental. Still, without Soarin', we would only do it once in a while.

We have been to WDW one time so far and have never ridden Soarin but we did ride Living With the Land. I do plan to ride Soarin in June when we go back but just never made it there last trip. I'm not sure how great Soarin is but LWTL was one of our Epcot favorites. :thumbsup2

My family really enjoys LWTL. We love seeing all the greenhouses and the fish.

Granted, when we have gone there was never a line, we just leisurely strolled up to a boat. So I think if we had to wait longer than 5-10 minutes we'd pass it up.

If Soarin' wasn't there and you still had to sit through the Kitchen Cabaret, would you?

Yes! Kitchen Kabaret was (and still would be) my favorite thing in EPCOT! I really miss it, it was so cute.
