If Pixie Dust Fell from the Sky

Wilderness Lodge - A room that opens to the Lobby & looks out over the pool/courtyard - at Christmas time!!! :goodvibes

Well, I'm experiencing a little bit of pixie dust next month...spending a weekend at AKL, savannah room, with DH. It was a hard choice between AKL and the Boardwalk, so if I had more pixie dust come my way, it would be the Boardwalk with all of my kids at Christmas...minus the crowds!

Wilderness Lodge - the resort just looks so warm and inviting from all the photos I see. But for now, alas, I must be :) with the moderates :flower3:.

Ooooo, what a tough question! So many choices!

I would LOVE to stay at Bay Lake Towers or the Poly, since we love the monorail.

Timing? Either September (low crowds) or early December to see the holiday decorations.

I would stay at the Grand Floridian because I love the atmosphere, and everything about this resort...plus it's close to the Magic Kingdom, my favorite park. My ideal time to go would be early to mid May.

Sorry...I'd have to do a split stay with the AKL Savannah view (I can't wait until we can try it) and then go "home" to the CSR for the end of the week, hopefully in one of the executive suites. We would go mid-September like we do every year.

Poly...we went there for dinner on our last visit and I loved the resort. A room with a Magic Kingdom view. I would love to go after the Christmas decorations were put up but before the busy season!

Grand Floridian RPC in late August for our anniversary. Parks are less crowded and I don't mind the heat.

Either the Grand Floridian or the Poly. One of the items on our bucket list is to stay at every single Disney World hotel. I'm not sure if we'll ever really do those two. They are just soooo expensive. Even if we could afford it, I don't know if DH could stomach paying that much per night. We have DVC which makes it even more unlikely that we'll stay there, unless they add a DVC at one of those resorts. While I'm dreaming, it would have to be a MK view! Perhaps a fancy suite?

I think my ideal time is in the first 2 weeks of December. Cooler weather, and the place is all decked out for Christmas. We went last year in Nov and the parks were decorated, but resorts weren't yet. Would love to see everything!

Ahhh ... dream trips. I love these! I'd do a week in late October at the Poly, in the Kamehameha suite. (As long as I'm dreaming, may as well dream *big*.) I'd do MNSSHP, and the Premium dining plan, too. Ohhh.. and the Food/Wine festival.. oh YUM.

Oh, and as long as it seems money is no object, I'd host a Illuminations Dessert party and pay the full price, and invite any nice people I've encountered during my stay. :)
