We're going to WDW!!!!! Me, DW, DS's(11,5), DD(8) in Mid May. I know we need to see all the parades, and I'm carefully aranging my schedule to do just this. But, when my schedule blows up (or they post hours) which parade should I absolutely positively not miss?

Gotta be the MK parade. Second choice would be ToD at Epcot. The MGM parade did not impress us.

Well, if you can only pick ONE, you'll want to try and see Spectromagic if you can (the nighttime light parade at the Magic Kingdom). Of course depending on when you're going, this may not be an option. Many times of the year this is only shown on the weekends or just Saturday nights.

Have fun!

I would try not to miss the afternoon parade at MGM. You will find almost every character there!! It was really good. It was our 4yr.olds favorite parade to watch.(and ours too!!) Check it out here: http://www.wdwig.com/m_cars.htm

Everyone has a different answer. :)

All of the parades are good, and I would make an effort to catch them all. I'd rank them like this:

ToD
Spectromagic
Share a Dream
Stars and Cars
Jammin Jungle

SPECTROMAGIC !!!! (or if you are talking afternoon you must see the giant life size snowglobes in the 100 Years of Magic parade at MK. They are so neat!!

Our favorites in this order.
1. Spectro... hands down the best.
2. TOD and Illuminations....very moving and different
3. MGM Stars in Cars... kids loved it
4. MK snowglobes...not impressed
5. AK Jammin... didn't see it

We went in December with our 2 DD's ages 5 and 2.

This is our experience in order of best to least:

1. MGM Stars in Cars--------had all the characters and nice music. Our DD's loved it!
2. MK snowglobes-----------comes close second to the MGM parade. Both are great; just didn't like the music as much as MGM's!
3. AK Jammin----------didn't see it so I can't say.
4. Spectro-------have never been able to see it so I can't say; we go off season so it's usually only playing one night; Saturdays.
5. TOD at Epcot-------------different, but just alright compared to the first 2; not a character parade...so our little ones weren't impressed.
