Isn't that pretty much ALL the rides? So no Pirates, Alice In Wonderland, Pinocchio, etc...That might be a deal breaker for me.
I agree it's a start, but not good enough for me to go.Keep in mind that it's a start, it's better then what is currently going on. While I would agree, I'm just happy they are getting some green light to reopening!
I’m inclined to agree with you.I agree it's a start, but not good enough for me to go.![]()
No Indiana Jones. Would I still go? Probably, but I’d rather have access to all of the rides.Isn't that pretty much ALL the rides? So no Pirates, Alice In Wonderland, Pinocchio, etc...That might be a deal breaker for me.
Did I miss an announcement? Or is July wishful thinking? -I’m out of state. When Disneyland fully opens in JULY, I expect decreased capacity on any indoor ATTRACTION.
The 6-8 week ramp once cast starts back on payroll dictates a LATE june or early July opening.Did I miss an announcement? Or is July wishful thinking? -I’m out of state.

Also assuming that Orange County's numbers keep improving. There's no guarantee that a county won't backslide. We've lost over 525,000 people to this virus in the US alone. I think it's worth it to be patient and see this through by following the guidelines as much as possible. We've already done it for a year... we can certainly wait a a few more months. Also assuming that Orange County's numbers keep improving. There's no guarantee that a county won't backslide. Read on another site that Bob Chapek says late April reopening. I haven’t seen anything official though.I'm more inclined to agree with @whoever... I don't believe DLR will fully open in April even if Orange County is in the red tier. There are too many factors that weigh in to that decision, and Disney has not yet made a statement about an opening date. Would DLR even be profitable at 15% capacity if they had to bring all of the cast members back to run the parks but attendance was capped at such a low number?

No it’s not. But numbers are trending in the right direction at a rapid rate. And doesn’t lead to the belief that Disney’s plan is to wait until July."we're encouraged by the positive trends we're seeing and we're hopeful they'll continue to improve and we'll be able to open our Parks to guests with limited capacity by late April"
That's not actually a confirmed April reopening. It's still dependent on Orange County getting into the red tier and staying there. Disney can announce a date, like they did last summer, and it can still get pushed. The CDC is still warning against a possible spike in cases due to the UK variant, which they expect to become the dominant virus this month in the US. Fingers crossed that this doesn't happen, and the parks can open ASAP.

I was going off of you saying you agreed with another poster who did say JulyI don't doubt that Disney does not want to wait one day longer than necessary to get DLR reopened. I never said they wanted to wait until July. If it were only up to Disney, they would have reopened long ago. Nothing about this pandemic has gone the way anyone expected or could predict. Being able to reopen in April would be the best-case scenario. I hope it does happen, but it may not. I also feel bad for all of the non-California residents who are being denied a chance to go when it does reopen.
