Agreed. I think, unfortunately, it is a clickbait world and a lot of journalists throw spaghetti to the wall and see what sticks. Usually, Yahoo. isn't terrible. But, I fell for it.
Again, though, I'm happy to be wrong.

Not your fault. Honestly within the last hour or two I’ve seen multiple new stations state that screaming is banned on rides at DL once they reopen (even after CAPA clarified). Unless you know where to look for DL specific guidance and rules, you won’t know that it’s being taken out of context.

For a period of about two months last summer my church discontinued singing because of the COVID. It really hurt, because my church has an excellent music program and a really magnificent pipe organ. The organist did his best to make up for it, but it wasn't the same. After a while, though, additional research showed that, as long as everyone was still wearing the masks (we were, and are), it wouldn't matter. And so we are signing again. As far as I know, nobody has contracted COVID as a result of our singing in church, and certainly nobody has died from it. I'm reasonably confident that shouting on a ride, while fully masked, would similarly be inconsequential.

Hilariously, they updated the article the next day to point out that the guidelines don't actually say that, without fixing the headline.

Everybody else is just passing on the ragebait without verifying it. Even the BBC carried it.

Interesting how I am seeing news outlets talking about DL opening, but NOT mentioning it is only for CA residents at first... um what about people who plan trips not knowing it is for CA only at first. SMH. I try and not read them and give them my business when they are click baiting. Too much of that going on right now.
