If I want POR-AB will they definately honor my request?

4 families are going to POR in a few weeks & we had originally requested AB section. We would love the trundle bed but have 1 child under 3 so could get by without by having 3 kids sleep together or get a crib. It would be nice to have but I hate to pay the extra money each night to secure it if no one uses it. Also, one of kids may sleep in Grandma's room now & then so may not need it more than a few nights. My question is, in order to be sure to get the trundle in case we need it, do I have to pay the extra money for every night we are there??? Is there a chance they wouldn't put us in AB section if I just requested AB without specifically asking for the trundle? Do all of their rooms have trundle beds? Do they have have ajoining rooms? Any area I should request that would best suit 4 families?

If you don't pay the extra to secure it, then no, you are not guaranteed it.

If they know you have a party of 5 in one room, I am pretty sure they will go ahead and put you in a trundle room, and charge you for it.

If they don't know you have a party of five for one room, then, you could get either section. Requests are often granted, though. Keep in mind that not all AB rooms have trundles. So, I am thinking if you ask for an AB trundle room, you might find the extra tacked onto yoru bill.
