I want you all to know, and please spread the word...I died HAPPY! I was where I wanted to be, I was happy and I died. Who could ask for more?

My Dh and I are having this argument. I just told him, if I go on MS with an undiagnosed medical problem, and died because of it, don't be mad. Be happy, and let the world know, I died happy.

He thinks Disney should set up a blood pressure screening before you can enter the ride. Not a bad idea, but it may be too pricey for Disney to bother with it.

I am puzzled by the calls for shutting down the ride. Life is filled with risks...necessary (driving to work) and unnecessary (climbing Mt. Everest).

There are many activities that can cause sudden death from an undiagnosed ailment (eg. young athletes dropping dead on the practice field).

You have a great attitude!

That's what I've always said about Tower of Terror! The last trip my DD and I went on ToT twenty-something times (23, I think) and one time some guy was teasing me telling me I was in the spot with the broken seatbelt. I told him they could bring it on and if I was going to die, that's exactly where I wanted to be!

Not trying to make light of tragic deaths and how very sad for the families of the people who have died.

But if I'm going to go, I'd rather be doing what I love to do. :cool1:

if you die on MS I hope you bought a lottery ticket that day, your odds of winning are a lot better.

Excellent!! Haven't laughed that hard in a while!!

I so agree w/you! Spread the word that I died happily in the happiest place on Earth while doing something I love!!!!!

The way I look at it ... when it's your time, it's your time ... regardless of how, where or when!

I'd be more scared of vomiting on MS than dying.

I must agree! My roof could fall on me tonight and that would'nt be near as much fun as WDW.

I don't know...as my dad used to always say--it's not the drop that gets you, it's the sudden stop! :rotfl:

I agree with you! If I am gonna go and it happens to be at WDW, well, hooray for me. I would have been having a great time. Besides, we all have to go sometime...

I've actually said that while at WDW! LOL (Well not on MS, I'm too chicken for it but any other ride.)
I actually am afraid I could die while trying to this upcoming 1/2 marathon in Jan. Oh and BTW, I am related to Eeyore!! LOL

And if they won't pronounce me dead at WDW let them pronounce me dead in Celebration because if I can't live there, I might as well die the!

You all are funny! :rotfl2:

You're absolutely right though, when it comes down to it, if it's your time then it's your time to go. You might have been stuck in traffic on the way home from work, out shooting some hoops with your kids or at Disney. I'd rather die leaving my family knowing that I was happy.

If I die on MS, tell my DH to sue the heck out of Disney and shut the ride down.

as long as it is during the last ride on the last day of my vacation :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 I agree Snoopymom. I don't want to miss a single second of my WDW trip :woohoo:

I am right there with you.

But I have been on it 4 times now and I am still alive, so I guess the family is going to have to wait for my life insurance money.

Just curious, but if you died of a medical condition, and not a ride malfunction, on what basis would he file the suit?

I am not trying to make light of a tragic situation. I am trying to point out that someday, we will all die. For 2 people, that happened to be when they went on MS.

If I am going to die, I want it to be when I am truly happy. For me, that is when I am in WDW. :teeth:
