If I cancel and book a different resort, do I lose my ADRs?

I booked my ADRs at 180 days, so I have felt everything is good to go. There is a possibility now of our resort changing, but in order to change we will cancel and rebook for the same dates.(long story...) Will I lose ADRs if I cancel a resort reservation?

ADR's are typically linked to a phone #, not just your resort reservation #, so you should be fine. I'd probably call Disney Dining first, and check with them to make sure your phone # is on there, and double check that changing the resort reservation # won't mess you up. Then after you cancel and rebook, I'd call back with the new resort reservation #.

Long story? Very mysterious. I've got time--we don't leave for 35 days.

Thanks for the info. That is what I thought, too but want to make sure. I will definitely call before I change anything.

Here's my long story : I booked our December trip in February, made ADRs at 180 days, bought our plane tickets, so everything is in place. This morning my mom told me that she has a time share week that they may not be able to use, so if she cannot get the week she wants, we could have her time share week. Included in her time share are Wilderness Lodge, Old Key West and Beach Club- huge upgrades from ASMo and it would be free. So, nothing is official, but I want to find out what would happen if we do change reservations.

I just modified our reservation today and asked the same question. CM stated it would not effect the ADR's, that they are in a seperate system.
