We are hoping to keep this trip a total secret from the boys. My parents are going also and we hope to tell the boys that we are taking my parents to the airport b/c they are going on a trip (we have done this for them before) and there get the luggage for the kids out also and surprise them at the airport.

I want to put tog. a cary on bag for them w/ goddies in it both for the flight as well as Disney stuff.

I got 3 beaney Mickey's, some small disney activity books and well as am ordering the personalized maps.

What are some other suggestions to put in there? The boys will be 4,7,9 all about to go up one age right after the trip.

I just answered another thread like this, but here are some of our favorites:

* goggles (for pool)
* sunglasses
* character ball cap
* bathing suit
* jibbitz
* disposable camera
* character fruit chews

We are surprising our boys (3 & 8) with a trip in April, however they think we are going in July (that way they get to plan and I don't have to hide my obsessive planning). Anyway, that morning I have a scavenger hunt for them to do with clues to spell out Disney. At the end they will each receive a small package of goodies. For DS8 I just ordered the Disney for kids book so he can read it on the plane. I will also include snacks for the plane and and activity book I am making for both.

I also like to print out coloring pages, get new (not broken into a million pieces) packs of crayons, and make a little book with a favorite character theme for the flight.

DollarTree has tons of Disney licensed small toys, craft items, and books so don't hesitate to browse their toy aisle for buys that are just $1. I stock up on the glow items to wear in the parks after dark:thumbsup2

Get them all matching Disney tshirts and a disposable camera (write their name or initials with a marker so they don't get them mixed up) so they can all take their own pictures while at Disney:) maybe an autograph or small photo book. Disney themed snacks are always a hit...cereal in baggies with Disney stickers on the baggies. Fruit snacks. Cookies. A hidden mickey book? My DD loved looking all over the parks and resorts for the hidden mickeys this past trip. I love your surprise idea with the grandparents. Your kids are going to flip! Don't forget to video tape the whole surprise if you can:) soooooo fun! Have a great trip.

I have done surprise goodie bags for my dd (4)... i have put a new disney pj's; cup for the room; disney dollars or a gift card; toys (either for room or tub) and/or pins.

I leave it on her bed the first night we are there and she believes it is left by one of the princesses.

At Big Lots today I found the cutest Cars flashlight. You slide it apart for a little mini lantern and push it together to make a flashlight. It was just $4 and they had POTC flashlights for $2.

Thanks those are some good ideas.

I am looking for some small things for the plane. I have been checking out the upber creative people on the DIScreative forum and hope to get some personalized iron shirts for them. The disposable camera is good also.
