Ideas for Alice In Wonderland Birthday Party??

I'm starting to get ideas together for my DDs first birthday. I decided to do an Alice In Wonderland / Mad Hatter Tea Party theme..

These are my ideas, so far...

Cake: 3, lop sided 2 layer cakes at different levels – labeled for characters
Mad Hatter’s Chocolate, White Rabbit, Alice’s Strawberry
Favors: sugar cookies and cream cheese frosting
Words: Eat Me, Take Me, Try Me
Drinks: Coffee, Tea, Lemonade, Punch
Labeled: Drink Me
Centerpieces: Tea Kettle with Mouse, “Painted” Red Rose topiaries with paint
can, Flowers with faces and little music notes.
Various Ideas: Cheshire cat paw prints all over, 3ft. tall Card people, Pin the tail on the Cheshire cat.

Any other ideas?!

How about some of that funny tea that shrinks little girls?!

You could have someone dressed as the Mad Hatter come in to play games with the girls--maybe do some slight of hand card tricks, that kind of stuff.

Do you have music?

It sounds like fun!

We went to one long ago when when one of the kids was on preschool. THey had it in the basement rec room and down the stairs on the walls they had made a mural of "down the rabbit hole"! It was so cute. I just remember that someone dressed as Alice read the girls stories and led them in games!
