Ideas for a packable gift?

My daughter is going to London for a her jobs holiday party. Since they are paying for the flight and a couple of days worth of hotel rooms, she has decided to extend her trip and travel to another destination or two. She is still trying to figure out where she wants to go.

I'm trying to figure out a small gift or two to give her ahead of time that she can open on Christmas day. She is really a pain to shop for though. Any ideas?

what about a peice of jewlery.
Or a VERY nice journal and pen to write in while she is on her trip (they have beautiful journals at Barnes and Noble )
does she need a new camera?

some money converted to Euros
stocking stuffed with candy and some of her small favorite things

What about mailing something to her hotel room so it is there when she gets there? If the hotel has a concierge they might help you with that.
