I'd much rather visit the DIS...ebay vent

Hi, DISers!

I just want to let you know I enjoy your company and find you all to be friendly and welcoming. I never feel out of place when I visit the DIS.

Here's why: I recently decided to visit the ebay community to see if I could learn any important and helpful information. I visited their Q&A Chat and asked a couple questions, only to be ignored. Well, that made me feel really special. Then I went back this morning, thinking it would be different people and they might be more helpful, and I actually got yelled at. All I asked was if I should report a member because they were doing something I thought was outside of ebay's policies, and the person's reply was "No!". That was it. No explanation. Not sure why they had to speak so emphatically. I just asked.

So I'm not going back there to ask any more questions. You all are much friendlier and seem to have the answers, too.

ask your question over on the budget board. We have lots of e-bay savvy people over there.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. I visit ebay every so often, both as a buyer and a seller, but have never participated in any chat.

You might try visiting our budget board here on the DIS for ebay questions -- there is a long standing thread that exists there - lots of ebay experts! And the plus is they are DISers, which means they are friendly.
