Icebox in minifridge?

Does anyone know if there is an icebox in the mini-fridges in the studios?

Yes, there is a small freezer compartment in the upper portion of the refrigerator.

There is a top corner 'ice box,' but it is like a dorm fridge..so, it only freezes as well as a dorm fridge and can fit about only a tiny amount of food. I usually approach the studios as if they do not have a freezer.

The freezer section will hold a box of waffles, or two or three frozen TV dinners. However, it doesn't usually freeze solid enough to hold ice cream well. They are similar to this:

Thanks. We're actually forward planning for our 2009 trip. Have a 1 bed booked @ AKV for 15 nights this year but will only have enough points for a studio next. Hope to use the icebox to freeze a couple of gel packs for a coolbag, looks like it will be fine for that.
