ice cream social???

I think I heard about an ice cream social being held daily at epcot. Does anyone know any of the details about such an event - cost, times, location, etc?

Any info is much appreciated.

I just booked this today!

I had a choice of times 2:50, 3:00, or 3:10. As far as I know it is daily, and costs $6.99 per person (adults and children) not including tax and tip. It is held at the Garden Grill in the land area.

I know Mickey, Chip and Dale are there, i'm not sure who else, maybe Minnie.

From what I understand, the ice cream is sitting on a dish with a cookie and a cone sitting on top of that to form a hat. I think there are different decorations on it and I think I saw fruit around the plate. Someone might be able to tell you more about what it actually is.

We did this in 2001 and it was great! It was not crowded and DS got plenty of time with the characters. It was Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto.

does anyone know if you can request a different flavour of ice cream or is it always vanilla? I'm sure we'll take the kids here, and they'd love it even better if there were chocolate or strawberry to chose from. Thanks, Jo
