It seems lost people post about positive character interaction at GG. Part of the reason could be that the ICS is at 3:00 in the afternoon and there might not be many regular diners there at that time - so there are less customers to share the characters.
The ice cream gets mixed reviews - some people say it is way overpriced for $7, some say it was frozen solid and unedible, some say they like it. I went in Dec02 and through the ice cream was good. It wasn't a $7 sundae. But you're paying for more than the ice cream.
Overall, we would go back for both the ice cream and the character interaction.
