Ice Cream Social

Hopefully someone can give me some direction.... I have searched everywhere and can't seem to locate any information on the ice cream social @ the Land in Epcot. In 03 on our trip to DW we had PS and really enjoyed it... I am planning and wishing for a trip this Oct 06... And this is one of the things we were wanting to put on our list and budget...

Unfortuantely, they no longer have the ice cream social. We did it in '04 and really enjoyed it too, it wasn't too expensive and you still got the characters.

We never got to do the ice cream social. It seems a shame not to have anything to replace it! I don't know exactly when they discontinued it but I am pretty sure when I asked about it for our January '05 trip it had already stopped.

It went away awhile back - which really is unfortunate. It was a great alternative to expensive character meals!

Somehow, I get a feeling that $$ might have been part of the decision to end it... just a hunch LOL =)
