I won tickets ... now what?!

As part of a charity auction, Disney donated four 1-day park hoppers that come with a letter of authenticity. I won. We have a family of three.

Will Disney let me use 1 ticket for each of the three of us for one day, then, for a second day, allow me to use the 1 leftover ticket for one of the three of us for a second day and to buy two 1-day base tickets for the other two people to use?

The tickets expire in 2020, and we would be using them in January 2020, so I figured it wasn't worth upgrading tickets to get one extra day out of them, especially since we don't take advantage of park-hopping and since we would need to do price-bridging to upgrade, I'm guessing?

I don't want to be left with one extra ticket we can't use that will expire shortly after we get back, and I don't know how best to do this. Please, Disney experts, I need your advice!

Yes, you should be able to do that, as long as you book hotel separately (not a hotel/ticket package). Enjoy!

First of all, the tickets are not upgradable in any way.

The most cost effective way to use them for a 2 day trip is to have 2 people use 2 of the tickets each and then buy a new 2- day ticket for the third person.
