I won a trip for 8, wondering what hotel

Are you going to bring all 8 people? Our company ran a contest and the prize was a trip for 4 to WDW. The person who won worked out a deal for 2 people only (they were newlyweds with no kids), got a better hotel (Yacht Club) plus meal plan added.

If you read the tiny print on most contest forms for trips to Disney, they state accomodations will be in a Deluxe hotel. I am sure they will put you up in a Deluxe, and not a Value. Congratulations on winning

The trip I won was for four people and we only had two (DS was 2 at the time). When we checked in we were given (4) 4 day park hoppers, so we added a few extra nights to our five day stay (over at the AS though) and we used those for the extra park hoppers for the additional days. It worked out great!

Congratulations!! 8 People means 2 rooms how nice for you. I hope you have a wonderful trip and get the hotel of your choice.
Personally I would choose the BC/YC. I love Stormalong Bay and the sand in the bottom of the pool. Plus Beaches and Cream is great for a quick lunch or dinner and it is so close to both Epcot and MGM..

A friend of mine won a trip (for 4) last year and they were given Caribbean Beach Resort. They loved it.

does the form say rooms or room - if it just says room then you may find yourself in a DVC resort - there 2-bedroom sleeps 8 - BCV and BWV are both Epcot resorts, OKW and the current one that they are building, SSR, are both Downtown Disney resorts, VWL is the only MK resort that is also a DVC resort.

I think it would be SSR it will open in May.

This great, how wonderful for you. I'm not sure about what hotel they would put you up in. If they wanted all 8 together the only place I can think of would be a Grand Villa at OKW or BW. But those are hard to come by.
