I won a trip for 8, wondering what hotel

i am so happy and very lucky, Yes I won a trip for 8 through Boscov's and Channel 6 Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am wondering if anyone else ever won a trip to WDW if you can tell me what reosrt Disney put you up in. I am told that this up to Disney where we will stay!

You should defenetly go to the Dolfin or the Swan because they are right near Epcot AND MGM!! I went there in Febuary and it was awesome!!! You get to take a boat ride to those parks and the boardwalk!!! HAVE FUN!!

I have no say where they will put us up at. all I know is that it will be on Disney Property.

I'd bet on the All-Stars....most of the promotions I've seen have included accomodations there. Congratulations on winning your trip! Can I ask what kind of contest it was and how you won?

as they are not owned by Disney. I would imagine it would be a value or moderate resort. I wouldn't care where I was staying as long as it was free!!! You must be covered in Pixie Dust!!!

I don't know where they will put you, but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! I was watching the Boscov's Parade and heard them announce the winner. All I could think of was how lucky the person was, and what a great time they are going to have! I think it's great! Have a wonderful trip.

Congrats!!

I won a trip 2 years ago through a radio station contest. All the arrangements were made though the WDTC. I received a form via the mail and had to put down the travel dates I wanted and which hotel I wanted to stay in. I figured we would have to stay in the All Stars, but we didn't. I got to list a few different choices in case the first choice was not available. We ended up getting the YC as our first choice, so it worked out well

I regret that I'm inelgible to even enter that particular contest, since I'm an employee of Boscov's.

I'm sure you'll be placed in a Value Resort, either All Stars on Pop Century. Maybe they'd go for a Moderate, but I'd doubt it, especially since the trip is for 8 guests. Often the trips are only for 4.

I won a trip to Disneyland not Disney World and I went in February.The hotel was also up to Disney.They gave us the Grand Californian.It was the best they had so you never know.

I hope that they let you stay in a Moderate, CBR is my favorite moderate...oh ya....I've only stayed at CBR...the others are probably pretty good... :sunny:

Nine times out of ten contest trips are actually paid for by WDW and travel arrangements are made through WDTC, not by the place holding the contest, so her chances of staying at a deluxe vs a value is just as equal

Boscov's has its own TravelCenter, and I think they may be affiliated with WDTC, but I'm not certain. I've never used their services. They do charter flights to WDW from regional airports. I hear they put together an affordable package and people I've talked to have been pleased.

I am planning on going in May. at the end of May. I do not believe that the arrangements are going to be made by Boscov's, as I was told that Disney would be calling me, plus this also involved abc, which is owned by Disney. Wish me luck, Wow a deluxe would be nice, not sure which one. Oh yes the Grand Floridan, I can only dream...............

I would love to be in your shoes. I hope you get ot stay at the resort of your choice and just wanted to put my two cents in. If, like another poster put it, they let you make a choice and you have smaller kids, the Contemporary is wonderful. We have stayed there many times and my kids still love it. They are 17 and 9. The teenager loves it because he can come and go between MK and Epcot as he pleases on the monorail and my 9 y/o just loves the monorail, Chef Mickey's, the pool, the small boats that we ride around the laggon in, and the arcade. We have never stayed in the tower, but I bet you could. Have fun where ever you stay, just wanted to let you know that the CR is a great resort! ::yes::

By the way we love going in May. The weather is great and Epcot has the Flower Festival at that time. :wave2:

I won a trip a few years ago from McDonalds and they put us in the Beach Club for 3 nights with full park hopper passes. We chose to add on a few more days, and they still paid for the airfare both ways, we just had to pay our own hotel for the last few days.(and our park hoppers for the days we added)

It was awesome!!!!! Have fun!!
