I won $1000 !! (canadian) $735 USD. What's the most you've won at a SLOT MACHINE?

Last night I went to Casino Windsor (in Windsor, Onatario). This was only my 4th time in my life at a Casino. Approx. 25 min. into playing at a quarter machine (3 quarters at a time), I won $1000 !!!
I was SO excited, all I could think was "OMG! $1000 !!", but then I remembered that I was in CANADA and my $1000 was only approx. $730 U.S. Dollars. Oh well, still a great win.

What is the most you have won at a slot machine?
What type of machine was it? .... nickel, quarter, dollar, etc.....

I once won $250 at a slot machine in Reno. My husband and I were actually leaving and I had one more quarter left to play. I looked around the room and decided on the machine stuck over in the corner, I put my quarter in and DING, DING, DING...WINNER! It was great! Haven't won anything since then...

Wow, congrats to you on your lucky spin. The most I have ever won was $250.00 on a quarter machine (only used 1 quarter). I did win $160.00 on the 2 cent Spinx last time out. I have been to the casinos about 6 times. Seems like they plan out making this a mini vegas/ I have 2 raceinos, 4 casinos within driving distance, with one planned only 10 minutes away from me, and 2 minutes from my MIL who is totally hooked. LOL

My brother just won $5,000 on a nickel machine at a casino in Indiana last month! Unbelieveable!!

I won two $250 jackpots on the same quarter machine within an hour of each other in Lake Charles, LA.

Then on my 40th birthday trip to Las Vegas I won a $500 jackpot on a quarter machine.

All three of my "big" wins went into a separate pot and never touched another slot machine.

We were in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and my uncle won $1250. It was a .5 dollar machine but he hit the jackpot. We were so thrilled. I have been to the casino many times (Since I'm a student in Mt. P) and never won. Maybe next time

LOL! I havent been in years. They dont let kids in those places...so the last time I went was when I lived in Philly..4 years ago.

I always go with a number that if I lose it..ok. Sometimes (ie the Philippines) it was $200. The most I have ever gone with was $800. The nice thing about Philly was when I lost, I could easily just go home. It usually took a long time to win that amount. (except in the philippines..I sat right down and the first machine gave that.!)

But as soon as I have made back the money I came with, I only play with the winnings. So I have only twice ever left with less money then I went in with. I would LOVE to go back...but to be honest, if you go for a weekend, it is almost the same price as Disney and I have more fun there. So, unless Disney puts in a casino, I dont think I will be going for a while! LOL!

Oh, I didnt finish the question. I always play the $1-5 slots and always bet the max!

Also, my MIL actaully has like a Platinum Card at harrahs..so she gets rooms and meals for free. I like going with her for that. But it makes me ill to watch her. She can easily pump hundreds without any thought. One time, we had some money saved up and we had put it in a CD. Well, we were at Harahs and she had run out of money...litterally..completely out. She was asking us if we could give her the 5k. Nope..we were about to pay for our wedding and we needed that. Anyway, honestly peopel that go without a budget...it makes me sick. You really can lose everything at those places if you are not careful.

In May 2001, DH and I were driving to WDW from Dallas and stopped at Vicksburg for dinner at the Ameristar. I won $2500 on a $1 machine with about $25 invested. Now, that was a good trip.

I won about $1400 on a black jack table about 15 years ago. I had exactly $20 to gamble with, and I won $1400. My DH was out of his mind, he wanted to double our money, etc. but I pocketed the money and stopped immediately after my win. I wasn't going to mess with Beginner's Luck.

Here's somebody else that loves to gamble - but we also do it on a budget. For example - we'll go to the casino with $100 each - when that's gone we leave.

I've had terrible luck lately with the slot machines. The first couple of times we went to Las Vegas I always would at least get a $250 jackpot. The first time we did so well just winning small amounts that we paid for the entire trip - airfare and everything.

I think I have good beginners luck...the first time I tried Keno I won $120 on a $1 bet. The first time I did Roulette I left the table with $150 more than I started with. Now I just need to learn another new game

We have a friend that won $250,000 on a quarter slot machine with the first 0.50 he put in...wish I had that kind of luck!
