Wow ... winning more than $10 on a slot machine at Casino Windsor is impressive indeed. I've never been there, but from friends, I hear that the slot machines there are incredibly "tight". I guess maybe they had to loosen them up a bit in order to compete with the Detroit casinos.

I 've won about 100 before! I don't believe in playing too often. It really is a waste of money.

One of the elementary principals in our district went to the bar with his wife a few weeks back. He was playing Keno and hit for $500,000. Yes you read that correctly--$500,000. I don't think his wife will have any trouble spending it! Too bad it wasn't me.

I won about $400 on the Sizziling Seven machine in Tunica, MS. Dh and I used to go to the casinos here locally about once every two weeks. I think the most I won here in St. Louis was about $150. Since we became parents we rarely get the chance to go anymore. But when we do go we only play the penny or nickel slots nowdays. My favorite nickel slot is that "Gone Fishin" game.

I've been very fortunate... I won $5,500 at Bally's in Atlantic City about 5 years ago and I won $3,600 at Bellagio in Atlantic City about a year ago. Both were on the $5 slot.

We dont gamble because of our moral views. We are trying to teach the ds how to have a good work ethic and make money honestly etc. But ds cousin won $3000 in atlantic city. I honestly didnt know what to say to them. I think we said like oh that must have been surprising. I really didnt want to get into it with them in front of our kids. Also our ds see how it can be a bad addiction etc. Once it was so sad, a local lady asked if anyone from our church had storage space in their garage. She had to move out of the house because of her ds gambling and how it ruined them financially and they were losing their house.

$1100 on a $1 slot at The Mirage in Vegas. Hit a $750 jackpot on a $1 slot last time I was in Vegas at the Luxor. My dad hit $1000 on a quarter slot at Excalibur a while back.

Those are the good trips that make up for all the times you drop all your gambling money on slots and come back with nothing to show for it. Which is most of the time...

I never win anything when gambling...and I mean NEVER!

Last time I went to the casino I put a $20 bill in a quater machine, playing 1 coin at a time....I didn't hit one thing...heck, I didn't even get my coin back...the machine never even thought about dropping anything back...80 quarters later I scooted up to the bar and spen the rest of my cash there!

And when I go to the horse track..no better....I've never cashed a ticket at the races...you'd think I'd learn.....

FYI: no I dont have a gambling problem...I only go to the casino 1 time every couple of months and NEVER gamble more than $20 and I spend about $20 every other week at the track from July until Labor day

$500 on a quarter slot in New York New York in Vegas.

$500 on a dollar slot at the Mohegan Sun a couple of months ago.

The year that hurricane Floyd went up the east coast we were vacationing in Virginia Beach, we left a couple of days early to avoid the hurricane. We decided to take the scenic route home, and that brought us to Dover Delaware. DH and I decided to try our luck with $50.00 each at the Dover Downs, on my last pull of my $50.00 I hit the red white and blue sevens for $1600.00, oooh that was fun.
