Tutto Italia. Party of 4 - two adults, two teenagers - $197.34 for mediocre (at best) food and lousy service. Frankly, I have had consistently better meals at Maggiano's and even Carrabba's for far less money.
The ONLY good things about our meal - we were seated immediately, in spite of being early for our ADR, and the assistant waiter who kept our drink glasses full. Aside from that, we saw our waiter 3 times during the entire meal - to take our apps/drink order, to take our main course order, and to settle our check. We waited a very long time to be greeted at our table - over 15 minutes. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was good - not the best I've had, but not the worst, either. Our cocktails were not worth the price - not by a long shot. The entrees were supremely disappointing... DH's sole was soggy, although it would have been something to rave about otherwise. (This was the ONLY dish that was actually flavorful!) My risotto was undercooked, and the sauce was oily and separating - while the shrimp were cooked well, the dish was ridiculously bland. Both kids ordered the fettuccine, which had clearly sat under the hot lamps for far too long - the pasta was tough, the sauce had congealed/thickened, and it lacked flavor. All of this was shocking, as we were presented with our entrees VERY quickly! In hindsight, it seems apparent that the food had been mostly pre-plated and sat under the lamps until needed. I have determined that it was either A) a fluke bad night, or B) all of the great reviews were made by people who don't know what "good food" really is. I would have been disappointed if this had been a $50.00 QS meal... but for nearly $200.00? Seriously? Never again.
And, for anyone wondering why we didn't complain and/or send the food back... we
never send food back to the kitchen. We simply just do not return.
