I Will NEVER Eat At _______ In WDW Again!!

flame tree bbq. went because of all the hype/glowing reviews and it did not remotely live up to them. husband especially hated it.

also whispering canyon. it was pretty gross.

1900 Park Fare - didn't like any of the options but service and quality were ok.
Le cellier - had this at food and wine so I cant say anything about the actual restaurant but from what I had I don't plan on even bothering for 2 credits
restaurantosaurus - YUCK!!!
Akershus - The cold buffet was ok but out of all our entrees my sons meatballs were the best. I don't feel like paying that much money for meatballs and some cold salmon.

Shutters at CBR definitely. You really don't have a reason to eat there unless you're staying at CBR, which I never plan on doing again, so there's that.

I was also disappointed in Coral Reef back in 2009, and I know I wasn't alone in that. I may try it again in the years to come, but I won't be rushing it.

I also won't rush going back to Ohanas for breakfast. Poor service and character interaction, despite the decent food. Definitely not worth the price.

Hacienda De San Angel was sub par.

Caseys Corner was awful.

Garden Grill was eh.

Fairfax Fare...yuck.

Hoop De Doo was not at all as good as Spirit of Aloha.

Boma was a disappointment.

Pizzafari wasn't great.

Sci Fi, hands down, was the worst of them all.

I'm a "never say never" kind of person.. having said that, I would have to be talked into Chef Mickey if I were to attend again.

I was so excited to have gotten reservations for our arrival night, after all the great reviews it seemed like the perfect way to start the vacation.

Disappointment is the best way to describe the experience. There seemed to be a decent variety of food.. but there didn't seem to be enough to keep up with the crowds that were dining. The buffet was constantly picked clean to the point that people stood long periods of time, plate in hand, waiting for food to be replenished. This caused a log jam for those willing to settle for the bits & pieces left on serving platters & in chafing dishes or who were trying to get to the less popular items. When the food was replenished, it was hit & miss.. some items good - others not worth the wait :(

Our character interaction was fine. The very long wait for food at the height of a dinner service in a flagship restaurant was unexpected & ..... disappointing.

We've had many good & great buffet meals at WDW.. Cape May, CP, Ohana, & Park Faire - it's sad that the one that we'd heard the best things about - lacked.

There are 2 TS places at WDW that I can honestly say we will NEVER go to again (there are others that I'm not super excited to go to again, but will if others want to...but I will just list the 2 that nobody could get me to go back to).

1- Marrakesh...bland, dry food...left hungry
2- Bongos...also bland, dry food...but also very bright and loud inside

Adding Cape May to the list. It was in the 'places I'm not super excited to go to, but will if others want to' and has now bumped up into the 'will NEVER go again' list. So expensive for salads and mini desserts. The crab legs are too small and not worth the time. And the fried seafood rotation...why can't they have all 3 every night? Would prefer the fried shrimp but we've never been there on that night (gone to CM 3 times).

Well I won't say I will never eat there again but we were dissapointed in Captain's Grill. We were looking forward to trying it as you see lots of "hidden gem" and "wonderful" comments. The food was good but the service was beyond bad. Had to ask another server to find ours twice as she would just dissapear and she was very slow. We were seated and had ordered, but I noticed other parties that had been seated after we had ordered recieving their food before we got ours. At one point after we had recieved our food she came by and said she would be right back with some iced tea, yeah right, didn't see her again until she brought the check.
Maybe she was forcing us to relax over our meal, I dunno. We were on free dining so it didn't bother me as much as if I had been paying OOP, but needless to say the tip was less than the recommended amount on the ticket.

I guess I can also put Le Celliar on the list, I have only eaten there once, back when it was a single credit and even then I thought it was way over rated and didn't hold a candle to Yachtsman, so I can't see myself going there again now that its a signiture.

I am hearing a lot of unhappy people--did anyone send their food back or complain to the manager?

We visited the parks this past August, and while there, our worst dining experience was clearly the Tusker House. I made a ADR for 10:50AM for the day we were spending in Animal Kingdom, based upon the advice that you get the "best of both worlds," as this time straddles both the end of breakfast and the start of the lunch menu items.

Well, the logic ran in reverse during our meal. It seemed that the breakfast items were few and far between, with little to no replenishment in site, and the lunch items simply tasted awful. It seemed that everything my family sampled left each of us with a bad taste in our mouths. Add to that a feeling of nausea that stayed with us for the rest of the day, and we left convinced to eat elsewhere on our next visit.

Now, since we had a very nice dining experience this same trip over at Chef Mickey's, I'm sure there are some of you who also enjoyed their meal at the Tusker, but I'm not convinced. To me, it was horrible.

That's a bummer about Tusker House. Our reservation was for 10:50 also and we loved it. The food was constantly refilled and hot, our server was amazing, and the characters visited our table a few times. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. I know you didn't mention the characters but someone else did so that's why I did - for others who will read this ;)

It may have been an off night, but Yachtsman is my "never again". The bread, especially the onion rolls, were AMAZING. And when you spend roughly $100 per person at a steakhouse and the most positive thing I can say is "the bread was really good" that's a problem. There's better steak to be had at WDW.

It must have been an off night. We ate there at least 6 times and it was always our best meal at Disney .id give them another chance. Shulas was a dissappointment for us

Two words: Planet Hollywood.

Ate there with my SO the night we landed in FL, in DTD. His burger reeked of something foul, and he barely finished half of it before he said he couldn't do it anymore; it was lukewarm at best, tasted funky, and looked awful. I ate the garlic chicken pasta, but it was more like garlic with a side of chicken and pasta. Scalding hot on the edges of the plate, freezing cold in the middle. We both left there with bad tastes in our mouths, and serious upset stomachs the rest of the night.

You couldn't pay me enough to ever set foot back in there.

T-Rex was way too loud for me. Food was okay. Won't go back because of the noise.

CRT - We went twice now. Expensive....I know, I know, we're paying for location but food at lunch was not good. I have no desire to return.

Hands down....LTT for Dinner. Processed crap IMHO!.

I agree about LTT's dinner. The mac & cheese and stuffing were the packaged stuff you can buy at the store. And the meats ... the turkey was the sandwich-meat kind, and the so-called "ham" was of the canned variety. Blech!

That place is disgusting
