I Will NEVER Eat At _______ In WDW Again!!

Chef Mickey's

We were there in 2010 for our sons 5th birthday. There were 17of us. I ordered him a cake, as well at the time they had loot bags which I ordered for all the kids (it was his actual birthday). I hadn't even been able to go to the salad bar before they brought out his cake. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant and here we were trying to have a nice family party while in WDW. We placed complaints before we even left. Will never go back. Planning my daughters 5th birthday to WDW now and it is not on the list. Looking at 1900 park fare(breakfast), and CRT (dinner)for her meals.

Sci-Fi was my "never do again" but a few years ago I was on the deluxe plan and needed another TS in DHS. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it. After that I will never say never again. I will just wait 10 years between visits :D

Most all of our meals, luckily, have been either good, really good or excellent. There have been rare exceptions...Casey's Corner...blah. The buns were so dry and crumbly. Not good. We thought Biergarten was just ok. The service was excellent, though. We had expected CRT & 'Ohana to be abysmal, but our experiences were excellent. We didn't really care too much for Pecos Bill -- again dried buns/burgers.

I would say on our last visit which was 2 years ago there worst places were:
1. Mama Melrose: The food was blah and when we got there for a 6:30pm reservation they told us to come back at 8:15pm. We were seated at 8;30pm missed Fantasmic and the food was aweful NEVER AGAIN!

2. Cinderellas Royal Table: We were rushed the food was cold. I wasted 2 table credits on this never again! And Sleeping Beauty was not nice at all, Belle and Snow White were the best. Belle and my daughter were laughing and talking like they knew eachother and Belle was in full character mode, she knew how to answer e everything my daughter asked her.

Those two I would never do again and chef mickeys even my kids were like no they wanted to pass that one!

Coral Reef was a great dinner for my family my mahi mahi was awesome and for breakfast it was Boma my favorite! We are heading back in Sept/Oct this year and made sure we had reservation to BOMA :)

wow, every restaurant at Disney is on this list. I don't think I can really say 'never again' to anyplace I've eaten at Disney. There have been some meh times and some disappointing times, but nothing horrible. And good or bad, it is all overpriced ;)

What sticks out in my mind is one time at Prime Time Cafe: the woman server was just so terrible. Not in character, didn't refill waters, didn't stop back to check on us. The servers around us were so nice that it made her behavior even more obvious. That was enough to make us not want to go back there anytime soon.

I would eat at Tusker House again, but DH thinks the food is too salty so I guess I can cross that off the list. :confused3

The Chinese QS at Epcot is definitely a no go and we won't do the TS there either.

Chef Mickey and Akershus (Norway) at Epcot. Chef Mickey for all the reasons listed previously: congealed, lukewarm food, filthy dining area, lackluster character interaction. Akershus for the food poisoning my husband got from one of the cold fish dishes (I did not eat what he ate so process of elimination leads us to the culprit). He spent 24+ hours lying on the bathroom floor in our room post our meal with serious vomiting and intestinal issues. The food from these places could be free......no, they could PAY us to eat at either of these restaurants, and we would easily say no!

As an emetophobe, that right there is literally my worst nightmare. Oh my goodness I feel ill just having read that.

Unfortunately, after last visit, I now have to add Casey's to my "do not eat" list. The 1st time was great. This time we all felt nauseous. It was nasty.

There is a counter service place in Typhoon Lagoon, I believe it was Leaning Palms...it was poor quality; I have had much better counter service than this. Soggy, bland chicken wrap that I won't be trying again. Nothing else on the menu looked appealing so I probably will skip this place entirely.

I also would not try Cafe Rix again. It wasn't terrible by any means, just not worth the prices (at least for breakfast).

While I suppose some can be hit or miss at any time, if I had to pick one it would probably be Ohana. On our last visit there the meats were overcooked, no, over charred. They were beyond cooked. The service was slow in coming to our small group, and I was less than impressed with the entertainment if that's what it was. Just plain annoying.

Whispering Canyon Cafe, LeCellier, and Narcoossee's (beautiful scenery, horrible food)

Casey's

I miss the 100% beef dogs!

The new healthier ones , so they say, are yuk !!!!!! :lmao:

Fulton's...I found one of the hostesses to be extremely rude & I thought the food was ok & over priced. Rainforest Cafe in DTD for dinner...long wait to be seated & even longer wait for our food! Been there twice & had a terrible experience both times; although, I did enjoy the RFC at AK for breakfast. Ohana for dinner...I was so excited for this meal, but found it very disappointing; we enjoyed the bread, salad, & dessert, but I didn't enjoy the meat, shrimp, wings, potstickers, veggies, & the noodles were inevitable! I would like to try their breakfast though! Pecos Bills...didn't enjoy it at at; thought it was very bland.

I will never eat at Main Street Bakery again because they put a stupid Starbucks in.

I avoid Crystal Palace and Park Fare AFTER breakfast. Just bland, poor quality food that is terribly over priced from my experience

The Main St Bakery however, I go to much more often now that I can buy a decent cup of iced coffee!

I'm glad I did so much research before my last two trips of free DDP because I can't say that I've eaten a bad meal yet and I've managed to keep my family of picky eaters happy too!

So thank you everyone...

I was a bit unhappy though that La Hacienda de San Angel refused to come up with something, anything that I could eat that was allergen-free (had no problem at any other restaurant)...but I would still go back because my family likes Mexican food, they enjoyed their meal, and my fiancee is Mexican and I want to encourage as much cross-cultural experience as possible.
