I went away for a few days to the Adirondacks, and missed my DIS-ING...I should have known you were planning another trip Fantasia!

Have a wonderful time on your trip and don't let anyone tell you "What? You Are Going to Disney again??" The memories you will make with your beautiful children there are more precious than anything tangible!

Fantasia, I, too, love your posts...but three times in a three months? Wow! I'm very happy for you and your kids (and I enjoy your reports and pics) but...can I very humbly ask...since I'm trying to scrape together money for my first trip...how you can afford it--and time off of work? I know money is a personal issue...you don't have to answer...I hope you can understand my tone is not snooty...just curious.

What day do you leave? We leave on Tuesday 8/2. We are flying out of Metro on Spirit Airlines. Maybe I'll see you down there. We will be at the Royal Pacific First, and then moving to Wilderness Lodge on 8/4.

WOW!! Royal Pacific!! That's my favorite resorts!! And WL too!! We are leaving 8/2 also flying NWA in the morning. We flew Spirit the last time. We will be at the Polynesian for 4 nights and POFQ for 3 nights. Departing 8/9.
Have a "magical" time!! I miss RPR!!

Well... we will be eating a lot of PJ sandwiches!! and eat our cereals in our room!! Eat snacks in our room. Only doing 3 parks (I still have some tickets left over). Doing a lot of counter service and food court. Doing maybe 4 table service for lunch (less expensive). It's just me and the children (DD 6 and DS8), so the table service will not cost me too much. Using my AAA discounts on our room. Got a great deal on our flight. We don't buy a lot of souviniers, we already have too many!! We are using DME service and it is FREE!! I think I might even cut the trip short to 5 nights. My kids gets a little homesick when they are out for a week!! I don't understand that part.

I am just taking advantage of their summer vacation. Once the school starts, the next time I can make it to Disney would probably be Easter, which is my Birthday week! And... "Life is too short!" I just want to enjoy my children while they are still little. Once they become a teenagers, I know it won't be the same anymore. And it makes me happy when I am there. I just want my children and I too be happy. I mean we are! But to make lots of memories in WDW is very special to me! Too bad their Dad passed away so soon. He only had 2 trip at WDW with us. The last trip he took was our 7th year anniversary. He passed away on that trip. So it's always a bittersweet vacation to WDW for me. I'm just glad that we made some great memories that we can always cherish that will last forever.

GOD forbid.. If I die..the children will remember me of how much I LOVE DISNEY! And they will remeber of how often we went and tell their grandchildren that I was the biggest Disney nut that they have ever met! It's all good!

Sowwie...loooong! Thanks again guys! I probably would win the vote for the most craziest addicted obssesed Disney nut on the DIS board!!

Sorry, to hear of your loss. I was born around the same time as your husband. It puts a lot of things of whats important in perspective. I am amazed that you are still able to go, since he passed there. Your kids should be proud of your strength.

ALOHA!!! Have a wonderful trip! My DS is 14 and I worried that he would loose interest in Disney as he got older but luckily he is following in his moms footsteps. Also, I get alot of comments from family and co-workers about my repeated vactions to WDW and I just don't give a hoot. It's your life with your kids and you have to do what makes you happy. Take as many trips as often as you can, for as long as you can. How you make it happen should never be questioned. Go and enjoy yourselves.

I am also sorry to hear about your husband, that must be really tough and you are VERY strong. Your kids will look up to you and always cherish the trips you are taking.

I am sure that the trips will level off when they become teenagers, but you can always look forward to helping them out with their kids on their family Disney trips! I am sure you have started a tradition that will last in your kids hearts, their kid's hearts, and even their kid's hearts!
