I went to my very 1st DIS meet...

and I will say that I had a pretty good time. I had a sore throat but I decided to go anyway. We quickly found seats and my ds Cameron ended up sitting next to "BriSully." Cameron recited most of the movie and the songs word for word. (Sorry if he disturbed anyone--he can recite/sing almost anything after hearing it a couple of times) Anyway, thanks for the buttons. DH Eric was pleasantly surprised that you guys are pretty down to earth and that he could actually hold a conversation with someone about whether or not TLK was the greatest Disney cinematic experience versus BATB.

I had only planned to see the movie and then head for home. But I decided to walk up to Dan Murphy after the movie let out and introduce myself and my family. He was so nice and he asks if we were going to the restaurant. I was about to say no, but Eric said of course we were. So off we went. The food was pretty good I only wished that my taste buds were working properly.

I appreciate every one that came over to talk to my family and me. Dan even armwrestled with Cameron. My dd, Mikaela was not too happy at first because her drink order took too long but once it got there, she was fine. Eric enjoyed talking with everyone (I'm sure that you all figured out who the talktative one in the family is

Later on, Cameron decided to show everyone his dance moves. No music was playing mind you he's just dancing to the beat of his own drum. I wonder if anyone got a picture of that. (He's standing next to me now dancing--this time he has on my headphones.)

Once again, it was really nice meeting/talking with you guys especially BriSully, December99, LadyM, Dan Murphy, and Helenabear. I only wished that I was feeling better. Can't wait to see the pictures!

I was so glad to be able to meet you on Saturday! I am just sorry that you weren't feeling better than you were. It really was a pleasure to talk with you and your husband It was a great day and a great time! I hope to see you again at a Chicago DIS Meet sometime in the near future

That would have been me . I sided with your hubby on The Lion King ... it's my #1 favorite Disney movie.

I was great meeting you & your family as well as all the other DISers at the meet. We had a good time even if we were 1/2 hour late to the movie .

It was great meeting you and your whole family, Kani!! So glad you came to the movie and then continue on over to the restaurant, in spite of your sore throat (hope it is feeling better today). You have a lovely family. Loved Mikaela's hair and a pretty girl she is. And also how Cameron beat me in arm wrestling. He is going to be strong. Make sure to go on that cold weather ski trip to humor Eric and then you guys can all go back to WDW. Hope to see you at the next meet, should be in April.
