When I called to let them know that I didn't book my ressie with a Disney Visa, they said they knew. The code reflected the offer that is coming out on 4/4/06 not the Disney Visa code. They said they were "holding" my ressie until the applicable code applied. I told them I wanted to cancel it and re-book using my Disney Visa not wanting to take a chance on the other code. They transferred me to Guest Services and a very nice CM spent quite a bit of time with me making the changes. She said they would rather not cancel it and charged my Disney Visa, credited my other "flyer mile" card and I kept the same reservation number. I was also adding another room and additional family members, as our numbers grew when they found out we could get the
free dining. She also cancelled and re-booked our 8 days of dining reservations to reflect our bigger group.
FYI, she also said the balance needs to be paid with the Disney Visa. In our case, it was over $7,000 because we had 6 adults in two rooms at BC. So if you are booking with the Disney Visa code, make sure you have enough left on your card to charge the balance.
I've got to stop reading these boards and finding out about the great discounts. It's making us plan unexpected trips, when we can travel to
Disneyland for a fraction of the cost. My "kids" are all adults, but we all still travel together and WDW is our favorite destination. At this rate, we'll be there every year!
