That the death toll is now 118 as a result of the attack on the Moscow Theater and this I was shocked to read...that 18 of the terrorists were WOMEN- they claimed that they were war widows-I didn't think that women could capable of something like that.

The death toll is terrible...innocent people. However, I don't think that the Russian government is completely perfect. If those women are truly war widows, I can empathize with their feelings even thought I think that the way they chose to express those feelings was totally wrong.

I know that its not only men that are capable of evil and hate...I just didn't think that women could take it to that extreme level.

Think about how angry women get when their children are attacked or how angry you'd be if someone killed your husband...are you still surprised that women can get this angry or be capable of this? Personally, it doesn't surprise me one bit.

at any giving PMS time I think any woman is capable for doing anything.

The saddest part about this tragedy is that 116 of the hostages appear to have been killed by the gas used by the Soviet Special forces. It also appears that many of the terrorists were EXECUTED with bullets to their heads while they were under the effect of the gas...............DISGUSTING.

Mickey, I lived in Israel for awhile and went out with a FEMALE Israeli soldier. As you may know, ALL girls are drafted into the Israeli army with few exceptions. She was a pretty "tough cookie", especially while carrying an UZI with several clips in her bag. I definitely did NOT try to "steal" a kiss from her ......

I think that it is less common for women to murder people they don't know, and it always a little surprising when it does happen. As much as we try to make it seem like everyone is the same for the purposes of equality, we tend to overlook that there are some real differences between men and women. Of course, all of these differences are generalities, so you can't compare one certain man to one certain woman.

I heard earlier today that the Russian authorities think that the reason the gas killed so many people was because their bodies were under physical distress from being held captive for so long. I don't know if there was a better solution, though. It would have been nice if less people had died, but it's good that they didn't have time to set those bombs off. That would have been disasterous. The whole situation is just very sad.

BLONDIE, there's NO CALL for SUMMARY EXECUTION in civilized society. If terrorists offered resistance,then they were fair game. If they were ASLEEP because of the gas used, it is INDEFENSIBLE that they were simply EXECUTED . I'm not sure that we'll EVER get the truth ........
