I think that it is less common for women to murder people they don't know, and it always a little surprising when it does happen. As much as we try to make it seem like everyone is the same for the purposes of equality, we tend to overlook that there are some real differences between men and women. Of course, all of these differences are generalities, so you can't compare one certain man to one certain woman.
I heard earlier today that the Russian authorities think that the reason the gas killed so many people was because their bodies were under physical distress from being held captive for so long. I don't know if there was a better solution, though. It would have been nice if less people had died, but it's good that they didn't have time to set those bombs off. That would have been disasterous. The whole situation is just very sad.
