I was followed at the mall yesterday....

Well in my case there was nobody to tell. Security passed me once before it happened and then I didnt' see them again. At that point it was 2:30 am and all I wanted to do was get home, not drive all over a nearly deserted parking lot making a bigger target of myself.

This is one of the reasons I highly recommend taking a self defense class. Not only do they teach you how to defend yourself, they also teach about how to not become a victim. Often muggers look for people who would be an easy target.. things like, rummaging through a bag, talking on a cell phone, having long, loose hair and things along those lines. If you can take a few classes, you're far less likely to become a victim.

I grew up in Michigan and moved to Kentucky when I was twelve. Our first summer in Kentucky we went to Michigan to visit family. My best friend from Kentucky went with us. My mom decided to drop us off at the beach since my cousin lived three blocks away and we could walk to his house when we were done (I don't know what the heck my mom was thinking - anyway...).

While at the beach we saw this creepy 50ish guy dressed in a "dress" shirt and old man-type dress pants. He was taking pictures of a little girl. We were walking down towards the water and stopped so we wouldn't get between him and (who we thought was) his litle girl. He motioned us forward. While we were right in front of him he took our picture. We thought it was a little weird, but figured it was an accident or something.

About an hour later we saw him by himself. The little girl wasn't with him. He kept staring at us and took some pictures of us while we were in the water and laying out on the sand. We started to get a little freaked out and decided to go to my cousin's house.

He left the same time we did and followed us in his car. I mean, he was literally just creeping along the road beside us. We were getting scared at this point and hid behind a bush. He pulled over to the side of the road and just sat there (didn't get out of his car, thank goodness). We didn't really know what to do but decided it would be best if we hurried to my cousin's house, so we started walking again. Again, he creeped along beside us.

When we got to my cousin's house, there was a note on the door (straight out of a horror movie, I know) saying he'd gone to the store, but would be back soon. We were really scared at this point. The guy didn't stop at the house, but kept circling around the block. We hid in the backyard until my cousin came home and the guy was still circling around.

My cousin went and stood on his porch and stared at the guy and he took off. We called the police, but they didn't seem concerned and just told us to call back if he bothered us again.

To this day, I still remember how terrified we were. I often wonder who that creep was and what happened to the little girl. I'm hoping she belonged to a family that was sunbathing nearby and went back to them.

The creepiest part was he looked a lot like the sketches of the Zodiac killer. I think the timeline was wrong, though, but when I saw the sketches it really creeped me out.

That is so scarey... you always have to be on alert at all times.
When I was with my exh, we had a meat market, he was in the back traying the meat and I was in the front putting things in the case when this car pulled up to the door. There was a guy in it and he just kept staring at me, I kept calling the ex, but the ex being who he is took his time about getting out front. This guy was creepy. As soon as my ex walked around the wall to the front of the store, creepy man took off. He drove out of our parking lot across the street and killed the women working alone in her store. After that, I refused to work alone.

OMG! :scared1:
