but I'm lost. I have done 4 12X12 Disney Scrapbooks but I want to start doing digital.
How can I get Disney Background pages?
How do I get the Walt Disney Font? (I do have this in Word, will that work?)
How do I Disney World Embellishments??

How do you do a DISNEY Digital Scrapbook?

TIA!

I would start by looking at the digital scrapping FAQ thread at the top of the page and through the digital scrapping photos- both are stickies on this page and they will show you some of what can be done and begin answering your questions about digital scrapping.

I actually did read the first post of the FAQ and it was over my head. :sad2: I have looked at the digital pages posted on one of the stickys and they have disney fonts, backgrounds, and embellishments. They looked like there were digital and I don't know how they did it. :confused3

People DO use MS Word for their LO's (Layouts) but Im not sure how. I use Photoshop and if the font is installed on your computer it should be installed there to, mine does. Unfortunately there really isn't that much out there for digital scrapbooking as far as Disney themes go. Most people just make due with stars and other generic embellishments that work with the theme. I have however made some myself which I have posted on my blog. They're free so help yourself if you like them, and there're also some tutorials there if you're just starting out.

Also ALL begginers (and veterans to!) should check out scrapgirls.

Happy Scrapping ♥

I has been a little while since you posted this, but...

Do you have any programs like Adobe PhotoShop Elements or PaintShop Pro? (I use elements.) There are other programs out there that are just for creating scrapbooks pages, but I have always been an Adobe girl. Someone may have a suggestion for you about a very simple program to get started.

Once you have a program to work in, I would suggest starting with Quick Pages. They are predesigned pages with openings for your pictures. You open the pictures you want to use and drag and drop them onto the Quick Page. You will have to make sure that the pictures are "layered" behind the QP. You can then type on top of the QP. Give it a title, write your captions, etc.Next, save as a .jpg and then print on your computer or save it to a CD or flashcard and take it to the photo shop to print.

If you have other questions, you can email me...

We have a brand new laptop (thanks to my youngest DS, seriously, THANK YOU!) We tried to put our Photoshop on it but it wouldn't take it. I think we have Photoshop on our other computer. I would like to go the scrapbooking on the laptop since it is in the living room and I could jump on easily.

I'm still in awe of all the pages!:worship:

We just bought a new laptop today -- ordered it from Dell. In researching laptops, we have learned that the new operating system Microsoft Vista can be problematic. I believe that my new version of Adobe PhotoShop Elements 6should work on Vista. What operating system does your laptop use? If if it brand new, I would assume it is running on Vista. Maybe you have an older version of an Adobe PhotoShop product that isn't compatible with Vista. Call or email Adobe and they would be able
to tell you for sure.
