I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

That whole ordeal at Kidani sounds awful, ugh. Thank goodness for the awesome luggage CM.

The ToT pics are hilarious, go my goodness.

SCI-FI. It's hard not to love that place.

OMG! Your first couple of hours at AKL/Kidani sound AWFUL! I can’t believe the room smell, but even worse the way they were dealing with it (or not dealing with it). Yeesh. Thank goodness for the great bell services CM and for the reaction of the DVC folks when you got home.

I do love Boma! I’m glad y’all enjoyed it. The pool looks like a lot of fun too.

Love the pics with Movie Star Goofy! Other than Tuxedo Goofy on DCL, I think he’s my favorite Goofy. ;)

It’s really nice that you are such a gracious and humble TSMM winner. :rolleyes1

OMG! ToT and the scary white people!!! :rotfl2:

I'm always playing catch up. :faint:

What a fun morning through lunch at the Studios.

I'm glad you got the boys signed up for Jedi Training.

You need to teach me how to get such high scores on TSM.

Your photo on Tower of Terror had me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Love Sci Fi for lunch; and after last year, I learned to stick with the burger.

Another great score on TSM!

Awesome trip report!! Thinking of trying boma on our upcoming trip but trying to get there from the boardwalk always holds me back. Loved the movie star goofy... I'll have to look for him. Really fun reading and loved all of the underwater hijinks!

We typically rent a car, which makes going from hotel to hotel much easier. In this case, since my parents drove down, we had the car all ready to go. It makes me much freer with reservations.

If you do want to try Boma, my suggestion is to maybe get there from Animal Kingdom. They have good breakfast too.

OK - I finally read the whole update and was cracking up the whole way.

But my favorite part - the breakdown on ToT. That was pretty priceless! :rotfl2: What were you doing - taking a selfie while everyone else is freaking out? :rotfl2: Pretty priceless!

Your score on TSM is pretty impressive. Darn girl. Nice job! I'm lucky if I get half of that.

BTW - nice job on cutting out the soda. I have to admit - I cave every once in awhile.

Hahahaha! Wait, you don't know me by now and know that I'm ALWAYS taking a selfie apparently? :lmao: No, I was simply pretending to be asleep.

I actually have not had any cravings for soda! I'm so happy, because I was afraid I was going to. It takes a weight off. Now I actually don't want it at all.

She was really awesome. We were so happy to have her there.

I love the environment and the burgers are always great at Sci-Fi. It's just fun.

OMG! ToT and the scary white people!!! :rotfl2:

It was definitely the low point of our trip. But everything worked out in the end, which I'm grateful for.

I am ALWAYS a gracious and humble winner. You should be with me on game night. :rotfl2:

Oh yes. Look out for the scary white people!

I'm always playing catch up. :faint:

I always feel like I'm catching up too! It's the only downside to traveling. You have to catch up when you get home.

I will teach you anytime you would like to know. I normally suggest googling Toy Story Mania Easter Eggs. There are tons of secrets on unlocking extra points. That's typically my trick.

Definitely stick with the burger. I always do. :thumbsup2

Aww Movie Star Goofy is so cute!
You guys are so funny on TSM, I love the (friendly???) competition. :lmao:
That pic of Gavin high fiving the Army Man is so adorable.
I also gave up pop (sorry, soda! My Canadian is showing! :rotfl2: ) after my last trip, I'm only at 3 months, but still. I was obsessed. Good job on 7!
OMG the faces on ToT are awesome. Poor Gavin, I'd definitely cry if I ever had to ride that again. :rotfl:
Love the atmosphere in Sci-Fi, it's so cool. :thumbsup2

Oh yes, the competition is friendly, no worries. Until I lose of course. Then all bets are off. :lmao:

Funny thing is, I should technically call it pop too based on the area I live it, yet I've always called it coke or soda. :confused3 Nice on three months though! It gets so much easier along the way.

The time for the boys Jedi Training had arrived. I warn you, there are lots of photos ahead. Mainly because we got the PP card for it. And let me tell you.....I have a LOT of pictures of kids that aren't ours. :rotfl:

We were heading to the area that they prep the kids for Jedi Training. Let me tell you, I was grateful that it was inside, because truthfully, it was hot as all get out. Like, when I tried to film Jedi Training, my phone SHUT DOWN because it was so hot. Yup. Hotter than Satan's armpit.

The boys were sitting and waiting in the waiting area to get their instructions and to put on their training gear.

And because I couldn't resist, I had to take a picture of Joaquin's chonies just sticking out of his pants while he was sitting on the floor. It was a side effect of the fact that we wanted him to wear his Star Wars T-shirt, but said t-shirt is now a touch too small for him.

Soon, they made the boys kids line up based on height. Tallest in front, smallest in back. Joaquin was clearly distracted.

And sticking his tongue out. Slightly blurry, sorry.

Soon, we were all led out to the training area. The nice thing about being part of the group is that you're pretty much guaranteed a front row "seat".

The boys were clearly ready. And their Tigger and Duffy's were too, evident by the fact that they were hanging from their pants.

Soon, the Jedi Master came out.

I cannot for the life of me remember her name.

And now I present you with.............tons of PP pictures!

Hahahaha. Way to have a candid shot Gavin.

Joaquin was waving at us waving at him.

Seriously. Joaquin does not focus well. Legitimately. Now, his strength is that he actually does retain the information. You can see here he looks like he's off in la la land. Trust me. He remembers what he has to do.

And we have Jedi Tigger.....and Joaquin's too short t-shirt.

Now Gavin on the other hand....if he looks like he's not paying attention.....he really isn't. :rotfl2:

Continued in next post:

Gavin was finally up!

I now present you with.....my favorite picture of this entire thing. He's like "wha!?"

And then this boy. One handing it. Like he's a pro or something.

After Darth was fought against, all of the Padawans needed to push him back using the force!

And Joaquin.......after Darth was defeated. Had to just be the center of attention. I wonder....oh I wonder.....where does he get that from?

Of course, the boys got their certificates of completion.

Joaquin....walked right past her, had to back up, and then grab it. *sigh*

All in all, they had a really good time. We will definitely have them do it again when we go on the 1/2 marathon trip in February of next year. It was fun to watch them do it and be one of the people that had a kid up there. Jason wanted Joaquin to just drop his saber and use the force, but it didn't quite work out that way. However, him attacking him one handed was pretty funny.

I now present you with.........video (click below). Notice Jeni calling Gavin pumpkin (we love embarrassing them), and Joaquin.....well.....being Joaquin.

Up next: Who takes a kids seat at Playhouse Disney?! If this wasn't a Disney park......:furious:

Awe those are great Jedi training pics. I know what you mean by this area being hot. I tried watching the entire thing last July but was just too hot to care at one point hehe

YIKES, that is hot!!!

Hahaha, I do like that one of the other kids was getting into your photos by flashing the peace sign.

AHHH I love that he one-handed the saber. Nice! But I REALLY LOVE the "wha????" Like, I don't need no stinkin' fake light saber to handle this dude.

That was awesome. I've never seen (that I recall anyway) a little behind the scenes info on this. Glad the boys had fun. And that video was cute too. But Dani... Vertical Video. STAHP!! :rotfl2:

It was so stinking hot out there. I think my phone was going to explode from taking video.

Haha, yes he was getting into my picture taking.

His face was priceless in that picture. Like, I don't even know what he was doing, but I loved the result. :lmao:

Okay....listen....the vertical video is because my old phone was weird! If I tried to flip it and take horizontal video, it would get all wonky and then the video would be upside down and I couldn't fix it. So.....I stopped. But, my new phone is fine with it. :lmao:

Awesome updates!!

Nice to see JTA from a different perspective than normal! Looks like the kids had a blast and had fun, which is always important, I always feel kinda bad when they seem to be super scared of darth baha!!

I’ve been looking forward to the jedi update! (BTW, I love that you sign the kids up ahead of time at DHS now. At DL, it’s still just luck whether a kid gets picked or not.)

I loved all the jedi pics!!! Especially the exciting action shots with Vader. And, of course, the “what??” Joaquin pic!

Those PP pictures are amazing. They really captured the fun those boys had. What a great experience for Star Wars fans! And very cool that you got awesome front row seats for all the action.

It was lots of fun to watch the kids... I know they thoroughly enjoyed the Jedi experience. It was hot though for sure:eek::eek:

Love the Jedi training pics! Gavin's hair looks super cool. :thumbsup2 Joaquin is such a hoot. That boy is just entertaining.

JTA looks like such a great experience. It's nice that they have something geared more toward boys. There are so many girl experiences at WDW. Having said that you know my girl is very into Star Wars ;) she was too nervous that she wouldn't be able to defeat Vader last trip so she skipped it.

Your nephews are adorable!! I enjoyed all the photos; this is an attraction that my kids are too old for, and we would never stop to watch it (especially on a hot day) so it was nice to see your pictures. :)

Wow. That sounds unbearably hot.
Love all the Jedi pics! They're all so cute. Gavin out there one handed sabre fighting, that boy is destined for greatness. Jedi by 13 I bet.
But having said that, the "wha!?" Pic is definitely my favourite too!
Love the video, hehe Pumpkin.
