Hi DIS friends!

So, we were cleaning out some stuff in the house this weekend, and are continuing to go through my Grandma's stuff so we can get her house ready for sale, and I had to share with you all a few things.

First, she had all these mugs in her basement wrapped up and boxed, and my Mom let me have my pickings of them. Here is a collage of the six I picked.



I also found TONS of pictures that were in a box that needed to be looked through. Who doesn't love looking through old pictures. I'm going to scan some old Disney photos in at some point, so I can share with you because I met some RARE characters back in the day. But first, this.

Since you all love my Popadon so much (well, really this is for Shannon), I had to take pictures of these with my phone to share with you.

This is my Pop when he was a wee one. Kinda reminds you of Joaquin with his naughty little glint in his eye, doesn't he?



And this one I found was really the one that I wanted to share. This is his picture when he got out of basic training in the Army, right before he was shipped off to Vietnam. Thankfully for us all, he obviously came back from Vietnam in one piece.

Obviously, I didn't like Splash Mountain when I went on it the first time at the age of 12.....only 10 years ago you know.

It's freaky right?! My Dad, Jason, and Joaquin all resemble each other in some way.

Hahaha! Most people never thought I'd be afraid of things. I wasn't a huge fan of big rides when I was younger. When I was about 14 years old, that changed when I started doing everything at Six Flags. Then of course I started working at Six Flags when I was 16, and the rest is history. I miss the pit in your stomach feeling when you're scared. But, what can you do?

I normally get huge mugs too! I love the ones I found, but at the same time I'm like "they're a little small....."

Nice! Embarrassing pictures are the best. Problem is, clearly, I don't get embarrassed easily, so my Mom and Dad have a hard time with that.
