WOO HOO for single digits! I'll dance with you!

:dance3::cheer2::banana::cool1:party::jumping1:
Love the Via Napoli envelope - I love anything Italian!!

jenny105 - the LGMH are at Home Depot. They sell Disney Behr paints and have them with all the other paint samples. In fact I just grabbed a couple when I was at HD on Saturday!

Happy Single Digits!!!!!

party::cool1::banana::dance3::woohoo::yay::cheer2::jumping1:

Day 11- The horse-shaped hitching posts on Main Street, U.S.A. are scraped and repainted twice a month!

Day 9- 3,000,000 chocolate-covered Mickey Mouse ice cream bars are sold every year at Walt Disney World.

Twice a month! :eek:

And I could really go for one of these :mickeybar today.;)

Single digits! So exciting! I know what you mean about the anticipation being over...I think planning is half the fun! Of course, if I didn't feel that way, I bet I could save a lot of money on pre-trip disney-related merchandise...

Great facts! We're almost at "one week from today..." right?

Hope Madison's teachers take the news well!

Single digits, woo! :banana::yay::woohoo:

Question about the LGMH. They're in Lowes, correct? Are they out in the open or do you have to ask for them? I went to Lowes with Kris the other day *** did a quick look around but didn't see them. He was there for something else *** it was late so I didn't look too hard but if you could shed some light I'd appreciate it! :)

They're at Home Depot.

When I worked retail, I was a stocking person, so no flip flops for me. Then there was Home Depot, where no one got to wear open toed shoes. Then my stint as a parking nazi, which combined walking with no open toed shoes.

Congrats on the single digit dance!

Yay for single digits!

I am right there with you about being upset about vacation approaching. I am so excited that its so close but also sad that it is closer to being over and we arent even there yet :sad2:. I have already begun trying to decide on our next trip. We have made a post Disney to do list and I insisted on adding Book next vacation to it :rotfl:

I like that idea - Post Disney list: book next vacation!!

I have found while writing up my TR that I am really enjoying re-living a lot of the fun. It's a double edged sword really. Makes me happy and all, but makes me want to go back even more!!
And sadly, we don't have a Disney trip planned yet. At least not officially! I've got a few in my head, and Disneyland Paris is on our tentative agenda for next summer.

OMG - 9 days! I am so excited for you! :yay: I totally am with you - the anticipation of the trip is the best. I love the planning and the excitement leading up to the actual trip. Almost as good (not quite though) as being there.

I really hope our vacation goes by slowly, but I know that's not going to happen. I just love doing our countdown chain everyday and talking about the things we're going to do. So fun!

Thanks for replying back to my FB message! I was so nervous that there was something big going on that week and we would be faced with large crowds. Still hoping we are going to book it! And that there won't be a big snowstorm......

No problem! I don't have a clue as to what's going on at the time that would cause blackout dates. We loved our trip in Jan last year. Great weather and NO crowds!

Did you have fun watching football yesterday? I loved it all. The tension when you are watching the game. The screaming at the tv. Rooting for your teams. Love it.

I was SO happy for football to be back! Just wish my Bills would have played better. Next week!

YAY for single digits!!

That tip envelope is really, really cute. Great job!

I love being in the singel digits.

Thanks!

YEA for single digits!

3,000,000 Mickey bars? Wow!

Thanks for dancing with me.

Can you believe it?! Those are popular little ice cream bars.

Single digits, woo! :banana::yay::woohoo:

The tip envelope came out really cute!

Thank you for reminding me I probably should fax in my room requests. I never have before, I just rely on the fact that it's on my reservation, but it's probably a good idea.

Thanks! I'm proud of my little envelope.

I think I put requests when I initially made my ressie (WAY back when). I just like to fax them in as well.

Yay for 9 days!! I know exactly what you mean-- half the fun of a Disney trip is the planning and anticipating...and then the trip always goes by in such a flash! :-( Then there's nothing to look forward to anymore-- unless, of course, you immediately start planning another trip lol.
I love the Via Napoli envelope! Michaels is such a dangerous place for me-- so many wonderful scrapbooking stickers!

1/2 the fun is definately the planning. I hope to plan another trip soon, but who knows.

AC Moore is my place for scrapbooking. They had a special sale from 6-9pm last night...26% off your entire regular price purchase. Plus, there was a coupon good for 51% off a regular price item that was good until 6pm. So, I had to get in line twice at 2 different times.

:banana::banana:Happy Single Digit Dance! :banana::banana:

Thanks for dancing!!! :goodvibes

Woo Hoo! Single Digit Dance!!! :dance3:

At least you know you can still plan other people's vacations even after you get home :)

Very true...I love helping people plan their vacations. It makes me just as excited.

WOO HOO for single digits! I'll dance with you!

I love my little Via Napoli envelope.

Happy Single Digits!!!!!

Twice a month! :eek:

Thanks for dancing!

Can you believe they scrape those things twice a month. That's a lot of work! I could go for a Mickey bar as well.

Very exciting! I just love the anticipation!!!

Yes indeed!! Wed will be 1 week!

I'm about to go pick her up from school, so we'll find out.

When I worked retail, I was a stocking person, so no flip flops for me. Then there was Home Depot, where no one got to wear open toed shoes. Then my stint as a parking nazi, which combined walking with no open toed shoes.

Congrats on the single digit dance!

Thanks Becca!

I get sad just thinking about our last day and we haven't even left yet! :laughing: I would love to see Disney at Christmas, but I don't want to wait until next year. Hmm...do you think I could talk my wonderful husband into going again in a few months?? Probably not.

I like that idea - Post Disney list: book next vacation!!

I love writing TR's for the same reason. I get to relive my trip all over again with all my DIS buddies.

SINGLE DIGIT DANCE PARTY!!!
party::cool1::banana::dance3::woohoo::yay::cheer2::jumping1:

I can't even believe I'm at single digits today. I feel like I just made my ADR's and that was back in March! I was talking to Tony last night and I told him I'm super excited about our trip, but I almost don't want it to get here. He looked at me like I was crazy, but I told him once it gets here, all of the anticipation will be over. I love the feeling I get when a Disney trip is approaching.

Well, I managed to cross a few things off of my to-do list this weekend, but not much. We sent THE letter into school today with Madison....hope the teachers don't mind! My mom finally took Madison's measurements for her costume yesterday. I can't wait to see the finished product. I also made my tip envelope for Via Napoli!

001-21.jpg

The letters aren't perfectly straight, but I still think it looks cute. The Italy stickers are scrapbooking stickers.

I added a few things to my list this weekend too. I need to wash my hipster (it's a little dirty in spots), give myself a pedicure and of course, do online check-in. We'll be faxing in our requests on Friday afternoon, so I won't do online check-in until next Monday.

I have to head into ON today to work (blah), but first, I'll leave you with our countdown facts from the past few days.

Day 11- The horse-shaped hitching posts on Main Street, U.S.A. are scraped and repainted twice a month!

Day 10-The Fountain of Nations can shoot water 150 feet in the air - within 30 feet of the top of Spaceship Earth! If all the shooters were fired at once, there would be 2,000 gallons of water in the air.

Day 9- 3,000,000 chocolate-covered Mickey Mouse ice cream bars are sold every year at Walt Disney World.

Thanks for dancing with me Kristen. I'm very excited!

It's coming up so soon and I just don't want it to be over. I know I'll be crying my eyes out when we check-out, when we fly home, when we arrive back in Buffalo....I'll be a weepy mess for a few days.

Aw, thanks. That's the only one I made myself. The rest I printed off from the creative DISigns folks.

yay for single digits!!!! We will be living through you until it's time for our trips!!! Cute envelope! :) You make mine look dull now haha!

Thanks for celebrating with me! :goodvibes I'm quite proud of my little envelope, but believe me, the rest are pretty basic. This one puts my other ones to shame.

Hooray for single digits!!
:jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1:

Wow, that's a lot of mickey bars! Love the Via Napoli envelope.

I guess we'll be getting back the day before you leave, right?

That is a TON of Mickey bars! Aw, thanks. I love how it came out.

I don't remember what day you come home, but we leave for WDW on the 22nd.

Ok, nothing big to update about, but I just can't seem to stay away from the DIS right now! I'm super tired today, so I think I'm just going to lounge around the house and relax. The days leading up to the trip are going to be a little busy, so I need this down time! Today is Primary Day, so when I dropped Madison off at school I went in and voted (love that her school is my polling place!). I guess I should have done more research because I hadn't even heard of some of the people running! All I wanted to go do was vote for the guy I want to run for govenor of NY.

Anyways...last night I bought another tye-dye Mickey shirt! On FB, I saw that Cassi (the tye-dye girl) had listed a few new items. So, I headed over to her Etsy shop and saw that the new items had been sold already. Bummer! But....I also saw that the tank top I really wanted was now on sale for $10 (normally $20)!!! I just HAD to get it! She's shipping it out today so I'll definately have it before my trip!:woohoo: It's super cute and I'll be sure to post a picture of it.

Here's what's on the agenda for the days leading up to my trip:

Wednesday- Wed is always grocery shopping and laundry day. I'll drop Madison off at school, head to the grocery store and come home to start laundry. Tomorrow is also my first day back to teaching dance. I can't wait to see my girls!

Thursday-Nothing to do during the day. It will probably be my last minute errand running day to pick up the last few things I need (sinus meds!). Then that evening, I'll be heading to the gym to meet my friend Erin. She's the choreographer for my dance team and she'll be teaching me the tryout dance. I can't wait to learn it!

Friday-Gotta pack things up to head to Syracuse for the Syracuse Feis. We're staying at my aunt & uncle's house so we don't have to pay for a hotel. It's a little tricky when packing for a feis. Not only do I need to pack a suitcase, but I have to pack up all of her dancing stuff too.

Saturday-Syracuse Feis!!! This will be our last one for this year and we're hoping that Madison places on her last dance (the reel). Not sure how long we'll be there...it all depends on how fast the stages are running. Afterwards, we might stop at my favorite outlet mall in Waterloo, NY on the way home.

Sunday-Church in the morning and then football in the afternoon. Depending on if I have to work next Monday, I might have to do a bit of laundry.

Monday-Not a clue yet. It's the only day I'm available to work next week and I'd love the hours, but....I'd rather stay home and do laundry! :laughing:

Tuesday-PACKING DAY! My favorite day....no, I'm not being sarcastic. I don't know why, but I truly enjoy packing for a trip. Not when it's time to come home though. That kind of packing stinks.

Yes, I know.....I'm super busy this next week. Hoping it will make time fly by because I'm SO ready to be on vacation! I'm sitting here eating waffles (my mouth is still a little tender so cereal is out of the question) wishing they were Mickey waffles. 8 more days!

I know I just finished posting my day-by-day itinerary, but do all of my readers want me to do a One Week From Today??? I really don't mind doing it, just don't want to bore anyone!

Countdown Fact of the Day

Day 8 - A special crew polishes every one of the brass poles on Cinderella's Golden Carrousel every single nigth.

I personally don't like the name change, so I'm still going to call it that!

yeah girl!! Give us a recap!!! Is your mouth still sore from the original appt or did you have them adjusted already?
