I want to be under 200 pounds...Anyone else??

Well, I kinda fell off the wagon last night. I'm on WW online and I must have eaten a lot of points. I had beer, cheese fondue, half a burger and shared a dessert with hubby. Today I am up a pound... I still have until Monday which is my official weigh in day.

I'm not going to let this one experience get me off track. :goodvibes

I am at 221 now. Down 6 since we started this challenge.

Good Luck Meg&minnie!!! Check in frequently, it helps to remind yourself of what's important, especially when you start craving raisenets like I do...

Hi guys - well this week is finally over. I have yo-yo'd all week and yesterday the scale said I was down another .5 a pound but today I was back up 1 pound. This has been a bad week for me - on Monday we had a welcome back cake for one of my secretaries - yup, had a piece. Why not, I paid for it  Tuesday we had a going away dinner for our interns at my house - a cookout. I did okay - I had a hamburger and about a cup of beans. But then I had a piece of choco cake. UGH. Then Wednesday someone brought in bday bagels for one of our staff - and I had one. Then yesterday we had a going away party for one of our staff - I had, I can't believe I'm going to admit this, 3 pieces of cake!!!!!! :faint: :faint: :faint: Well I didn't eat them all at once - we had some left over so I brought some home and I had 2 pieces at home but I didn't eat any dinner.

All of the parties are done, we've had a lot in the last 3 weeks due to people leaving. Now it's back to having time to workout and actually doing it. Life will settle down some.

I'm an administrative secretary at a university counseling center. I do the budgets, the ordering, the computer maintenance, the setting up new things for new staff, plus work for the director. In the last month our director has left, our associate director has left, one temporary person was done, one staff member had a baby and is on maternity leave, one secretary returned from maternity leave, our 4 interns will leave next week and one more temporary staff member will be leaving at the end of the month. So it's been a very strange last few weeks in my office. My director is moving today and I went to say my final goodbye to her - it's sad but I'm excited for her.

My goal is to make next week a much better week than this one.

Chris

Okay, I am going to join in. Little late, but oh well. I never bothered to venture to this board. Hummmmm wonder why, denial? ha ha. I too look forward to getting under 200. Few years ago, my highest was 277. (called the hospital to check their records for the highest recorded weight). I joined WW. I lost 100 lbs.! woo hoo  I was like only 10 lbs. from my goal weight!
but, then I stopped going.......... :confused3 . Now, I am back to 241, BUT,
I finally got BACK ON TRACK!!!! I've lost 10 lbs. in the past two weeks!
wow. I know I wont be able to do 5#/week, but this is a nice beginning.

Hermosa11~That is wonderful that you have lost so much!! I'm doing WW also. Even though you have gained back some that you lost, just remember that you are strong and can get it back off!! :cheer2:

blue eyes: You will love December. I've been twice--2000, it was really cold; 2002 chilly, but bearable. I absolutely love looking at all the decorations--try to save time to go to the resorts to see how the decorations tie into the resort theme. Next time I go in December, I want to do the Yuletide tour which shows you how they make all the designs. You've got to check out the GF with the gingerbread store, large enough for people to work in it.

I also loved the Christmas party. Remember you can enter MK early just on your MVMCP ticket. We ate at Liberty Tree Tavern about 5:30, and got out just as the party started. Go to the back of the park to get your picture made early--less lines.

Amanda, We have gone twice. The last time was this past holiday. It rained a bit, and therefore the parade was shorter, but the atmosphere is great! My kids were (DS)16 and (DD)9 and they had a great time. The first time we went they were 3 and 10. We had a a wonderful time, even tho my DD didn't last til the end. I would encourage anyone to go. Definitely a mid day of the week, because it is a popular party, and can be a bit crowded sometimes. Our first one was crowded, but they only did about 9 of them then. Now, with more, the second time wasn't as bad. Hope you go! You can make dining ressies when you order your tickets on the phone. We did The Liberty Inn and had a nice time. We all wore red scarves of various designs, and got into the spirit. I will certainly do it again!

Hope this helps you Amanda!

I'm here. I had a good week, just the weekend came......

I have put this weekend finally behind me. Wasn't that bad, friends popped in with steaks and Pie. Mixed berry. Yes I had some. I grilled veggies and we had some wine.

Yesterday scale broke. Stepped on and it said I weighed 104 Woo Hoo. Can't remember the last time it said that! LOL I wish........

Anyway new scale says I weighed so much more than the old scale. Just depressing to think I have to lose that weight again. I just got through those numbers. I got depressed. And made whole wheat pasta and alfredo sauce. I can have it on my plan I just ate too much of it.

So, back here where I should be and back to the plan.

Here's to a better week.

Amanda,

How exciting. We are going this Christmas. Early though. Nov 25 to Dec 2. Our first family christmas trip. Going to MVMCP Nov 30. We are very excited and the kids don't know about it.

Monday morning. I have today off :cool1: I stayed hecka on track this weekend. Husband was leaving for brother's on East Coast so Saturday evening we were going out to eat. (Nothing fancy schmancy).....I wanted Boston Market (healthy choices for me) but he wanted buffet place up the road. I did not want to go, but decided instead for his "last" meal, to go. I ended up eating rather healthy! Salad with vinegar/oil ....baked chicken! and green beans and SMALL serving of mashed potatoes/gravy.....and yes I had a little desert.
Oh, and I had two rolls. (I normally don't eat bread) (just cereal).
So, with that out of the way...........I am on track. Told my ds19 to hide the peanut butter from me (I go in his room to take out towels and what do I see on the top of his dresser, the peanut butter :confused3 geesh!!!) Lot good he is.

Hehe... that is too funny about the peanut butter! :rotfl:

I have... for the first time... called in sick. I'm not incredibly sick, just a little, but could not sleep all night for some reason. Never been off from this job before. So, I just needed a day.....

I'm glad to be past this weekend as well. I ate, and ate, and ate, and ate, and ate... went to a concert with DF and had drinks afterwards. It wasn't good. I should be down more but am still down a pound.

I have now lost 7 lbs total! :wizard:

This week, I am aiming for more than one pound per week 'cause that is what I have been averaging so far. I've also decided not to chow down on my Flex Points... and do a little more activity. :Pinkbounc

I am jumping on this thread!

I'm now at 239 lbs....the highest I've ever been! :sad2:

And at barely 5 ft. 3 in. tall, that's a lot of weight on a short person!

I'm having trouble staying motivated to lose weight, but mostly to exercise! I get busy with classes and stuff and then I have no energy.

I do have to say though...I just finished working a summer camp, where my schedule was screwy (worked 4pm-9am) and ate fatty cafeteria food all month long....and I do have to commend myself for only gaining 3 lbs!

But now it's time to start losing again...good luck to everyone on this thread also! :)

Hi there!

Pretty good weekend for me. Except, I had a brownie at my nieces graduation party on Saturday. (A big one.)

Oh well, back on track today. Small bowl of Special K, glass of OJ, 1 peach, 1 nectarine, 1 WW frozen lunch (4 points) and plenty of water. For dinner, 2 pieces of grilled chicken, small salad, small bowl of cut-up watermelon. Then when I was cleaning up I ate half a cheeseburger, but no bun. I could have skipped the burger, but it looked so good sitting there!

Anyway, sticking to the water from now on today. That's the hardest part for me. I really have a hard getting in my water. :confused3

Well, here I am. Still working out, still not losing. I am discouraged in some ways, but it is not going to stop me from working out. Six days a week and I am sticking to it.

My big thing is I finally bit the bullet and I joined WW online last night. I just could not work in a meeting that was close by and since I am already drivign at least 30 miles to the Y and back a few times a week, I really didn't want to go somewhere that was a drive. Gas is killing our budget already! I am liking the online program so far. My big downfall in the past is tracking because writing it all down and figuring the points etc drives me nuts. The online system makes it seem much easier and I am especially happy about being able to save meals to my favorites. It is going to take a bit of time to add in the meals I regularly eat but after that it should be pretty easy. I am pretty excited about it actually.

Hey everyone - just checking in. Things have been busy at work already this week. Had a pretty nice weekend - went and saw Pirates on Saturday with a group of nice people (some DISers in my area) and I ate popcorn. Haven't had popcorn from the movies in almost a year. My stomach didn't care for it. Then on Sunday took dad out for dinner for his bday and had really REALLY good fried chicken and then we went for ice cream. I was really bad. But I only came off of it with a 1 pound gain. So I'm trying to get back on track. Haven't been able to workout as much as I'd like this month but I'm hoping to improve on that next month. I have to.

Looks like you all are doing great. I'm going to see if I can steal a picture from the meet that was posted so you can see what I look like with 45 pounds off - not much different than what I did with 33 pounds off the last time the group met. Let me see if it will post...

July 2006 Meet at 45 pounds off
I'm the one in the peachy colored shirt with the short hair.

Not much difference.

Great photo of the DIS meet. Cool............You look great! Don't beat yourself up. sometimes it may not appear to be a difference, but there IS . Just keep making great choices! Next time you go out, try to make better choices and you will feel so proud of you and the choice you made! :cheer2:
I cannot believe I have not had anything sweet for so long! I am a sugaraholic and I am just not haveing any! wow. I dont drink any sodas anymore. Just water. water water water..............I have a swig sometimes at night (for the "bite") of "Talking Rain" lemon soda with spenda from grocery store. yum.
one day at a time. we can do it.........we can do it.........we can do it.........
:cool1: :cheer2:
