I only need 13 more posts to get to 2,000. :thumbsup2:banana:

I plan to post them before going to bed.

Are you having anything for a midnight snack?

I was just looking at your weight loss ticker. Way to go!

Or maybe I should say weigh to go!

<sigh> I have trouble just trying to lose 10 lbs. I heard the "last 10" are the hardest. But what happens if you only want to lose 10-15 lbs.? :confused3

I lost more than 20 pounds fairly easily. Since then, I've slowly gained back a few. It's partly the long nights and cold making me want to eat more and exercise less, but I think it's also set point. Our bodies like to hold onto fat and when we lose it, it adjusts to make losing more harder.

Do you exercise?

Do you exercise?

I bought an exercise bike. I just have to put it together. When I used to go to the gym, I really liked to ride. I have a great workout tape I like to listen to. It's got a fast beat. :yay: I think that will be my goal for tomorrow night. Finally putting that bike together. :)

Chell, you're going to be spending New Years at WDW? :thumbsup2

Good for you for buying the exercise bike. I should get mine out of the closet. I have Leslie Sansome tapes that I sometimes use, but I prefer to run outside when it's not too cold.

It's getting close to 1:00 (at least here on the East coast). Are you feeling confident?

A few weeks ago, I attended a lecture by Stu Middleman. He is a world-class, record breaking marathon runner. He actually said a lot of the way people are exercising is incorrect. They think heavy duty workouts, where you feel the burn, are heavily huffing & puffing, breathing hard, heart rate way up, is a good workout. What that actually does is put one in a sugar burning mode, rather than a fat burning mode, which is what people want to be in. He said to walk or bike at a rate just before all the really heavy breathing and exertion is a fat burning mode. One where I can still talk, and hold a conversation, but not very easily.

Once I get the bike set up, at least I know what level to aim for. :yay:

That's useful information. I'll look him up. I've got a good load of fat to burn off.

Yep! It will be the first New Year's I've ever done anything besides watch the ball drop on my tv at home. I hope we can get into the Studios when we arrive. We won't get to MCO until 8. I have to work that day. But thankfully now I only have to work half a day. YAY! They just told us the other day we get to leave at noon NYE. I'm SO excited because I was stressing over getting to the airport on time and getting the car packed. I love my husband dearly but don't trust him to get everything IN the car.

How fun! I'm jealous.
