I Want Concierge,wah!!!!!

all this talk about concierge
i want it but my travel agent said now it will be extra 2500 dollars for AKL upgrade because i already made ressies B4
I said you crazy!!!!
ya'll think I could call WDW and and they could upgrade me direct
or other suggestion?

I guess I can't understand why you can't upgrade without extra charges. If you had booked through Disney directly and called they would just do it and charge you the difference. No extra charges at all. I would either call Disney and ask that question or call your TA back and have her check again. That doesn't sound right but I could be wrong.

If you book through a travel agent, Disney is not able to do anything with your reservation. I would call WDW and see what it would be for a concierge room, then cancel your trip through the TA.

You could try to upgrade at check in. I'm not sure how likely it will be that you can get a concierge room at the AKL at check in, but it's worth a try.

Your travel agent may have booked through walt disney world travel...one yr before I was experienced I found out that mine did!! Then you certainly could change it. ALso 4 days before check in(that is when the reosrt gets the guests names) call the resort and request the cahnge they will do it.....if not at check in if available they will certainly do it....good luck!
