My hubby wanted one for YEARS (truly), but when it came time, there was never the 'extra' money, so for Christmas this past year, i gave him one and he loved it. It is a memory to our babies we lost. (he picked the design one day and asked if I liked it, so it's not like i asked him to get one to remember our babies.

Now, I want one!!! Our DS got one a couple of months after DH and I've been thinking of one since DH got his.

I want a disney one and I love Pooh, but I can't find a good picture. I want it to be small and will most likely get it on my shoulder (back). I am trying to decide between classic pooh and the 'real' pooh. If anyone has some good links to pics, I'd love for you to pass them along.

I made my appointment for Saturday at 4pm, so I am going to do this, but I have to have a GOOD picture for them to work with.

I don’t like classic Pooh – I prefer the perkier Pooh, pooh: myself…

Search Google images, pooh clip art, even spell it wrong too : Winnie the poo …. Get creative on your search! Good luck – let us know what you get!!

I LOVE Tattoo’s!!!

Hi
I just wanted to say that I love your DH's tatoo.

Iwould go for the new style Pooh too, have you googled for Pooh cliparts?

I didn't even know I could 'google' for images, boy I've been online for nine years and really never thought of that. I am finding all kinds of 'pooh' pics now. I was just doing searches for pooh tattoos and wasn't finding much. thanks for the ideas.

I found a few pics I like. Any imput?

(without the laura, but that was how i found it online)

Don't do it!! Its just a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling.

Tattoos are fun. I have two and they are so cute. Go for it. Just make sure you pick something that you will like for a really long time :teeth:

I absolutely hate them. Especially on women. Flame me if you must but I think of them as "tramp stamps".

no offenses to you but this her getting a tattoo, not you. Everyone I know has there own right to do what they want but really you should of thought before you spoke.

Also its obvious she is older, and not some teen going "omg I want a tattoo of the newest fashion!" Her husband has one and her son which im guessing is over 18?

so really it is her decision then so be it. i think a small pooh tattoo would be cute, and its not like your putting somwere to say LOOK AT MY TATTOO. If I had the guts and money, id get a bambi tattoo. but i hate needles :rotfl2:

It's her absolutely right to get a tattoo and its my right to express an opinion that tattoos are gross.

I have 2...and I love them!!
one is of a 5 star badge w/ my hubby's name on it....on my left hip....got it 5 days after we were married....going on 15 yrs now....
and the other is on my tushy.....a set of lips (kiss) so when I tell you to kiss my @$$ you'll know where to put it. got that one 5 yrs ago.
i want one more....a boy and girl holding hands...to symbolize my son & daughter...i want it on my ankle, but i know it will hurt...just have to work up the courage to do it.

i wasn't able to pull up your dh picture, i'll try again tomorrow....and i don't care for classic pooh either....too dull....need bright colors!!
good luck & have fun!!
marie

um....dawn....do you have one and regret getting it, or does your hubby have an ex's name on his body somewhere? either way, i agree, you are entitled to your opinion, but she didn't ask for an opinion, did she?

Therapy is expensive. Popping bubble wrap is cheap. You choose

I love this... I love bubble wrap and 'feel' so much better after popping some.

He is going Friday to get his third since he wants one in honor of our girls
not exactly sure on what that one will be yet

and I made my appointment
I go May 12th
I am finally gonna do it

I hate needles but want a tatoo bad enough to deal with it

as for the poohs
I like the ones where he sitting down

Oh and i forgot
I LOVE The Tattoo your DH got
it is really beautiful

I got a tattoo over a decade ago, I really wanted it, time passes & you change, I no longer wanted my tattoo - & if you think its painful & expensive to get it put on, try going monthly for laser therapy to have it removed - thousands of $'s & hurts like a biatch!

I can see you're set to do it, but dont flame the poster who stated not to do it, I think she was just trying to help you think it over, time changes people, do you really want a big saggy Pooh bear when you're in your 80's

I love my tattoos. I have two of them. I love dragons so that's what they are. I would love another one, maybe even two, but $$$ and as I get older I like to "hurt less". :confused3

As for the Pooh's the 1st or 2nd one.

My DS23 has two also. We got both our 2nd one's together. It was our "Mother/Son outing" and fun!! :rotfl2:

I have one and don't regret it. Trying to find something Disney, like Donald, for a second one.

It only stings for a a little bit and it is your body, your decision. It doesn't matter what other people think. If it is covered up, how would they know anyway?

Another thought, if you have a t-shirt, sweatshirt, mug, or picture that you really like of Pooh, take that in with you. The artist doing your work will be able to copy that for you.

DH did that for his tat. HUGH Bucs fan and he has one coffee mug with the coolest logo, so he took that in and the guy who did the tat matched it perfectly.

While I do understand that you are entitled to your opinion and respect that, I think that the word tramp is alittle harsh. I am considering getting one and I am as far from a tramp as you can get. Maybe just saying that you don't think it is a good idea or you just don't like them would be a better way of saying it without degrading anyone. Please don't think I am flaming you, I'm not.
