Super cute pics!
Thanks!
Yaaaay for your first Disney day!!! And for DS's birthday! SO exciting!
Wow, your DH took some AMAZING photos! I really love the Magic Kingdom Monorail pic at the TTC. And so many great shots of an empty MK!
I really wish that I could hand the camera over to my hubby but he can't take a good pic to save his life! He would have definitely taken those pics with the top of the castle cut off, lol
Can't wait to read about your Crystal Palace breakfast. We are thinking about trying it on our next trip.
It has really been so fun being able to be in MK on DS's birthday the past two years. I think I am going to have a harder time than him when we are not there in 2014 for his birthday!
DH has only more recently become interested in photography, and turns out, he is pretty good at it!

I still take a few pictures here and there on my iPhone or point & shoot, but I liked letting him take over the picture taking for the most part. And I was able to focus on getting more video, because I feel like we never get enough good video!
CP is one of our favorites!
Wow! Even for early ADR entry standards that Main Street was REALLY empty! I was wondering if it just looked that way because you were in the front of the pack but the picture looking back down towards the Train Station still looks awesomely deserted!
Great pictures of the Halloween themed hub statues. I don't know if you got around to see them at night but the lighting on them were great!
I think it had a lot to do with the fact that there was am EMH that day. Most people book those 8 am ADR's to get a jump on the crowds, so there isn't as much incentive on an EMH day, I guess.

Whatever the reason, it worked for me!!

Loved having the hub almost entirely to ourselves.
I don't think I ever did get to see them at night! I'll have to add that to my list of things to do next trip.
Looks like a good time at IoA. Aside from the part about Forbidden Journey trying to take captives. Too bad you didn't get a chance to ride during a breakdown. You could have gotten your wish of living inside the castle.
The pictures with Paxton and Spidey/Green Goblin are great. I've never really taken much time to check out those characters and how they interact. I have to say that I'm glad to see that they finally upgraded their vehicles from old ATV's with bald tires to some newer equipment.
Nice score on being able to upgrade to a fireworks view room. And I really like your idea for a "clean" bed and "dirty" bed.
The pictures looking down Main Street completely empty are great. I always love seeing the fall decorations on Main Street and seeing them frame an empty street with the castle at the end is just ideal.
It looks like Paxton was having some fun burning off energy before breakfast. Can't wait to see how it goes with the characters.
At that point, I probably would have been begging to leave!!

Living in the castle is one thing, but being stuck in those restraints is entirely different!
I don't think I had ever paid attention to the Marvel meet & greet characters either, so that was a nice surprise that Paxton enjoyed them so much, even for not really being familiar with them. He knows who Spider-Man is, but that's about it as evidenced by his lack of knowledge of the web shooting pose.
The bed situation worked PERFECTLY!!

It was an OCD mom's dream setup. I can't stand to think of him getting into sheets dirty for a nap and then sleeping in them again after his bath that night.
Main Street was awesome that morning, and the weather was great. Definitely the perfect start to our Disney part of the trip!!
Adorable photos!! So much fun to get onto main st. early. Definitely one of my must do's too. I was sad not to go to CP this trip - I hope Paxton loved it (i'm sure he did!). His bedhead is still adorable!! such a cutie pie.
I didn't know about the early-entry until I joined the DIS, and now I'm hooked!! It's a must-do for every trip from now on.

The bedhead was still pretty cute, but I have to say I wasn't sad to see it go later on!!
