2 more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!


I started packing for real last night. Spread everything that was randomly thrown into bags and actually packed stuff in bags where they will stay until we leave/get there. Still a LOOOONG way to go, but starting the process made me feel better, especially since I found out my IL's aren't gonna be able to watch the girls before we leave

13 days! Yes, I'm pretty sure there's going to be an "update" with a count down every day now

Only 3 more days till online check in! Still not sure if I'm going to do it or not though. We'd really like the Toy Story area, and I've heard you're more likely to get your requests if you check in with a real person. We're checking in at 7am, so it's not like it'll be super busy

Now begins the obsessive checking of the weather... right now accuweather is making me very happy Sunny, partly sunny and sunny! The 1st day is our "downtown day", so I want it to be nice then too When we get to be 10 days out I'll check weather.com and accuweather obsessively

DH said he would watch the kids all day the day before we leave since he has that day off too, but the thought of not packing until the day before the trip was stressing me out! I'm too much of a planner! I want the day before to be for cleaning and making sure everything is good to go!

Believe it or not... I left some things off the packing list!
I know, it doesn't seem possible, but I was doing some packing today during naptime and came across some things that I usually keep in my toiletries bag (for overnight trips here and there, etc) that should be on a packing list, or just some random additions that I didn't think about until today!

Here's what I was missing in the "Backpack for the Parks" list-

-1st aid kit
-sunglasses
-stickers (I have "activities for waiting in line", but no specifics, so stickers is a specific idea for that)

Things left off the overall packing list-

-shampoo/conditioner (duh!)
-clothes for the girls (another duh I didn't put clothes in their list after I split the list up into categories for us and them)
-toothpicks (I just bring 3-4)
-nail clippers (these always stay in my toiletry bag)
-toddler backpack "leash"
-Downy wrinkle release (if you've never used this stuff, you're missing out! You just hang up your shirt/pants the night before you need them, spray them and sort of stretch/smooth them out and in the morning when it's dry again it'll be unwrinkled! it's like magic )
-tip envelopes with money in them (I printed some really cute ones for mousekeeping and restaurants from the DISign board here. A lot of the restaurants we're going to are buffets, so I already know what the total will be, and the other ones I just went to allears.net and looked at the menus there to get a pretty good idea of our totals.)

Downy Wrinkle Releaser ROCKS!!! We love that stuff.
I found something I thought was pretty cool at the store called Purex 3 in 1. They were in the travel items section. They are sheets (so nice and flat) that have detergent and fabric softener all in one. There is 2 in a pack and I picked up 3 pks. That way I won't have to bring seperate detergent and fabric softener sheets to do laundry while away. I thought it was great find!

I will have to add on to my packing list now. Thanks for the updates.

Those are on my packing list! That's awesome that they have them in the travel section. I got a sample of them (just 1 sheet) forever ago and had been saving it for when we traveled, and since I still have it and we only plan on doing 1 load while at disney, that's what we're bringing

I did online check in this morning

I wasn't sure if I was going to do it or not, but I decided it was worth it to shave a few minutes off of check in time to chance not getting our requested room (we wanted the Toy Story area). I called and put it that request months ago, but since I did online check in we might not get it. But since we're checking in at 7am I wanted it to be as fast as possible... and I was just too excited to not do it

*Monday, May 30th- travel, maybe Downtown Disney if we have time after we get settled in at my cousin’s house.
*Tuesday, May 31st- Magic Kingdom. ADRs- CRT at 8:30am and Crystal Palace at 3:30pm
*Wednesday, June 1st- Epcot. ADRs Via Napoli for lunch at 11:30 and dinner at Kona Cafe at 5:20pmat Biergarten at 6:50pm, CS for lunch
*Thursday, June 2nd- Magic Kingdom, ADRs- Chef Mickey’s at 11am and Whispering Canyon Café at 5pm
*Friday, June 3rd- Animal Kingdom, ADRs-Tusker House at am Yak & Yeti at 12pm and Rainforest Café at 6:15pm Boma at 6:30pm
*Saturday, June 4th- Hollywood Studios, ADR- 50’s Primetime Café at 5:20pm, Pizza Planet (CS) for lunch

It's funny ... I actually found your PTR, but while reading it, the power flickered out. So I lost it. I recognized it as soon as I opened it up and saw the pics (I was only on page 2 or so when I first read).

Your Princesses are adorable! I can't wait to hear how much fun you guys have!!!!

Did you remember to put your mail on hold? We had to do that this time since FIL is coming with us (he normally collects it for us)

Maybe we'll see you at DHS. We're planning on going June 4th. As it turns out we'll be most likely eating CS at Pizza Planet also. We have an ADR for Sci Fi but they changed the time of the parade so it now conflicts.

It worked out really well I think. The places that aren't a preset price I didn't seal the envelope, just in case the service is terrible or we end up not getting dessert or something I can change the amount in it easily, but it's nice knowing that all the money is set aside and ready to go!
