Just booked our second trip this year within a few months of each other. The DH and I are going in August without the kids. I felt guilty that they were not coming so I just booked a trip in December with the kids and the Grandparents!

Gonna get a nice ride out to the AP's we bought, that's for sure!

Just had to share, I'm so excited!:cool1:

I understand the addiction. I was there in August with the family, in May on my own, and it's killing me that life is getting in the way of an August trip this year. I still haven't quite accepted that we're not going this summer.....I price pretend trips almost daily:).

My DH calls those my practice vacations :)

We are going for 6 days in August with our DD9. We're also going in January for a week with my extended family (sister and her family, my parents, my step sister, and possibly an uncle and a grandmother).

Since I bought annual passes, I'm trying to figure out if I can convince my husband to do a quick adults only get away to celebrate our 13th anniversary....

He thinks I'm crazy so I'm not sure if I'll get him to sign on...pixiedust:

You all are so lucky to be able to take multiple trips a year! I consider myself so very lucky to even convince DFi to go this once. I'm hoping he falls in love with WDW (how could you not?) and maybe we can book a bounceback trip or FD for next year. Keeping my fingers crossed! :goodvibes

OP, that's so awesome that you get to go back so soon and with other family members too!

You should be addicted!! ::yes:: It's Disney!! ...and the more you hang out on the DIS the more it can get addicting!:banana:

I'm lucky in that the DH got the Disney bug on our honeymoon. He now asks me when the next trip will be right after we get back from one! We'll be headed back with some friends in July of 2013 for our youngests 5th birthday. The only reason that one is not booked yet is you can't book 2013 yet! Lol.

I want to try out all the seasons of Disney so these trips will help in my "research".

It's those darn AP's I tell you. We first started going every other year. Then that turned into a yearly trip. Then we bought AP's to "save money". Ummm yeah.. not so much:rolleyes2
We'll get three trips out of them. Whenever dh gets going on the "three trips in a year!" roll I remind him that it's is technically only 2 trips for 2012, and 2013 is an entirely new year so the count starts over.::yes::

This will be the only year we do this. We want to plan a trip to the mountains next summer. But it's been a wonderful year!

The next trip we go on will be the 4th time I have been there in a 13 month period.

I am fortunate that when I took my DH to Disney he got bit by the Disney bug and now he is the one who keeps wanting to go back.

Exactly! It's the APs! When we bought them we did so because our trip in July will be 7-9 days so it was so worth it, then I "sold" a trip to the grandparents and it turned into what it is now.

Yes it is the APs!! I was there in January, last week, and now going back in December. Now I am trying to justify staying at another deluxe (Beach Club). On a single person's income this is very difficult, but I will make it work!!! (I mean, the AP discount will make it better, right? right??)

So happy for you, have fun on both trips. DH and I plan to go one day, just the two of us.

Hey AL Minnie, I'm from Mobile!

I know what you mean!! Everyday I think about WDW, I Dis, I plan trips, I work on dates, I think about our upcoming trip....it is an addiction for sure!! ::yes::

It takes me to my happy place mentally to think of Disney when I am having a bad day. Sometimes when I am at work, I will almost forget about Disney, and then when I remember I am sooo happy!!

I need help for sure...but glad to see there are others like me!! The scary thing is we are getting AP's in September...also to "save" money on our next trip!! LOL!

Yep, we are addicted too. We have a huge trip planned for Aug/Sept for 2 weeks, mind you we were there in January for 6 nights after a non Disney Cruise. Also, DH and I decided to do a mini trip last weekend since the kids were visiting their grandparents (who lives 3 hours away). Since the kids were going to have fun for a couple of weeks, we thought we should have some fun too :goodvibes. It was awesome, I called it our Disney fix before our family trip. Even though we just came back from our weekend trip (on Monday), I am still eagerly waiting for our upcoming trip with the kids to come.

Add me to the Addicts ...
First trip ever was in April with both kids, then a lovely PIN came along and twisted my arm into looking at August so I booked a trip for me and DS, next family trip is for August 2013....seriously considering a move to FL in a few years once the kids are off to college! :lmao:

Addiction to WDW is encompassing my life. First AP's bought this past Dec. because we were going back in April and it would save $$ especially with TIW.

In 11 days we are going back for my 4 ( DH's 3rd trip this year) with one more already booked for F&WF.. We are definitely not saving $$. :lmao:

DH told me last night that he wants to go somewhere new next year, so no AP renewal :sad2: unless maybe I just renew and go on a couple solo trips

You know when there are times that you need to go to your "happy place" like during a root canal or something else really horrific. My happy place is Castaway Key all the way on the adults only beach. We went there on our honeymoon and the day still has a big imprint on my brain. It helps me relax and brings me back to a time when I didn't have a care in the world. :)

Love those AP discounts!!
:beach:
Also trying to work out when I want to book another resort - hard to resist the AP discount!:rolleyes1
