I think the illuminations rumors are true

WOD store "no longer selling that here" (the music). Once Upon A Toy says they don't have it and don't know why because they usually do. Camera store in front part of Epcot says they've been out of it for a while and wish it would come in because everyone asks for it but it can be found at Mousegears.

So I'm thinking the reason nobody has it is that it is being phased out.

I could be full of crap though. Wouldn't be the first time.

And Robo I want none of your rumor alerts.

ETA: It was available at Mousegears. This post was not to complain about the lack of CDs for sale (though it was a pain in the ***). I'm just thinking it might be indicative of a bigger issue...like no more Illuminations. But maybe not.

The rumor is a new show will be coming. The current version (Reflections of Earth) is 10years old in October. It was created for the Millenium Celebration (thousand circles round the sun). I love the show but think it's time for a new one.

Illuminations is a near perfect show,I understand it will have to go eventually but they better have a replacement as good or better.I don't see Wishes being replaced for a good while,at least 5 plus years.

For once, a rumor I'd love to see come true!!! I hate Illuminations. I like the music okay, but the show isn't good, at least to me, DFi, my dad, and my friends who I apparently torchered by planning it into a trip with them (their first ever trip)

I'd be excited about a new show.

I am just back and I bought the Illuminations Reflections of earth cd in Mouse gears a couple of days ago.

We love Illuminations but wouldn't be opposed to a change. We also loved the Main Street Electrical Parade but Spectromagic is great too. And we liked the fireworks before Wishes (can't remember the name now) but Wishes is pretty awesome.

As long as they replace it with a new show, my family will be fine. Change is not always a bad thing.

I do wish they would bring back Tapestry of Dreams though. It was a great parade!
