Poor Lola, she has this "small dog" syndrome.....she acts tough, but is really a big weenie! :) I brought her to the trainer's and we were alone the first time. She was scared to death, wouldn't look at the trainer and was actually trembling. :(

Next visit, more of the same and so the trainer is going to come here this morning. Hopefully on her own "turf" my usually feisty baby will be more relaxed and will try to get to know Celine (trainer).

Wish us luck! :)

Poor Lola! :(

I'm sure she'll be a tiger on her own turf, CC!

(well, maybe not a tiger, but at least get up her nerve! :) )

Good luck, CC.

Gibson flunked too, but I think his problem was attention deficiet disorder! ;) ;)

Good luck!!

I shudder to think how my Bill would react to this!

Yikes - good luck

Funny story - my aunt swore her dog was going to flunk and ended up winning best improved in class - she even got a little trophy

Jasmine was a non conformist......she did just the opposite to what they wanted.......sooooooooo I got smart.....and she loved my tic tacs.....so I kept a few in my pockets and would put one in my mouth and she would sayyyyyyyyy .......where is that smell......and I would put it in my fingers and she would sit and stay and also come when I said to.......and she was a good baby after that....have your trainer give her a num a num and make friends.....on her own time.......

Poor little Lola! Please let us know how it goes.

Best of luck with Lola. Scrump the pug and I are in obedience training now too... class #2 is tonight!! I feel your pain!

Hmmmm...Must be the name. My Jack Russell named "Lola" also did not do well at dog obedience. Jacks are soooooo hyper. It wasn't pretty.

Why is it that some big dogs get "little dog" syndrome and the little dogs always have the "big dog" syndrome? Good luck to you and Lola!!

Good luck CC and Lola...tell her to live up to her Breed. no way is she supposed to be quiet ;)

It must be worse than I think, the trainer didn't show up!!!!!!
We've been expelled and she didn't even tell us! ;)

I know one of her dogs was really sick on Friday so maybe that's why. I'll keep you posted.

Maybe the trainer that Lola was perfect the way she is :)

Hmmm...Celine..Canadian...I guess that whole Vegas thing didn't work out and she's having to earn more money as a dog trainer!

uh uh, Carol, but I wish that were so!! LOL

And for you Mr. Alan, a new tag I see??? hmmm?? What DO you DO to be so deserving of the Tag Fairy's attention? I can't imagine! :p

ummm..yeah, I've been meaning to speak to you about that....

BTW, garage mirage was good, but not mine!

We haven't enrolled Tyler yet but I'm almost afraid of how he'll do. He's alternates between tough dog and hiding behind someones legs. He's tough on his own turf usually but scared anywhere else. It should be interesting.
