I think Lola and I are going to flunk out of obedience school!

Janette,
I should introduce Tyler to Lola! Don't worry, she's fixed! ;)
I still don't know what happened to the trainer but I'm sure she is giving up on us.....yet..... ;)

Cathy, they'd get along fine he's already had the little snip snip too ;)

I've heard that Bichon's can be a little difficult to train. With Gibson's report and Lola being in the same family of dogs it doesn't do much for my confidence.

Tyler has managed to train us quite well though. ;)

LOL Tony! :)

I just saw a show on Animal Planet about Bichon's. Seems they're very prone to allergies and ear infections :( They are so darned cute though :)

I should have watched that show, Lola is getting over an ear infection! Havanese are in the Bichon family, just without the afro.

Tony, shhhhh, she's adopted, but don't tell her that! ;)

I think we need to take her out more. :)

I think Tyler and Lola are in cahoots, Janette, we're well trained as per Lola's wishes too!

<font color=navy>I've been wondering how Lola is doing - do you have any pics of her, CC?

She probably just needs a belly rub and a scooby snack, and maybe a blinking collar.....;) :teeth:

LOL catsrule-Mary Jo, I was sure you were going to tell me I should have got a cat instead!! :)

MJ I will have to get some pics from the digital up, she is a sweetheart! :)

My labbie flunked out of O.S. We got him at 11 months at the pound, 85 lbs. of undisciplined stupid! Another person in the class had a standard poodle that did everything it was commanded. I was thinking - blankety-blank show-off! Whey even bother with obedience lessons. The trainer really annoyed me and one day she said that my dog was disrupting the class! So we quit, we are obedience school drop-outs! Sammie is now going to be 4 and he is a great dog. He pretty much has a mind of his own, has trained us, but definitely listens better than when we first got him.

Love that name Lola by the way.

Don't worry CC.. if you can't train Lola just bring her over and Reilly can have breakfast.... actually that's more like a snack for him :)

Bad Alex!!!! This is exactly why you were not voted Most Huggable DISer ;) :teeth:

Jason!!!! I didn't say she was mean! She is very nice, Lola just didn't like the strange environment that is why she was going to come by the house. Still don't know why she didn't show up though.

And Alex...... I can't post what I want to say to you here, but you know what I would say. :p

ROTFLMAO...Cathy - it MUST be in the name. I have a black miniature poodle named Lola that has the EXACT same problem.

My dad always says "Do you want to see $150 bucks? *Lola - Sit*...there that's all the trainer could teach this dog!!!" lol...

We use to have a Shetland Sheepdog name Cujo - now HE was good...I strongly recommend first time dog-owners to look into getting a Sheltie...

Cathy.....I've dreaded opening this thread since I first spotted it. All I keep singing is "LOLA" at the top of my lungs.....and seeing your dog in drag.......

Sorry.

I'll leave now....

Promise.....
