I think I'm liking the 90 day ADR slot

Yesterday was my 90 day ADR day to call, and I can happily say that I was able to get all the popular ADR's, including LeCellier and Ohana. I actually believe that I like this better than the 180 day one, simply because by the time you're 90 days out, most people's plans are already in place, and concrete. I went this past Dec. and has the hardest time getting ADR's simply because we switched 1 day. It was super stressful!
The only question I have is why are they asking for our reservation #? Does this mean that only WDW resort guests can make ADR's? I didn't understand this.

The reservation number is so you can make reservations for 10 days of your vacation (the +10 as it's commonly called)

Without a reservation number you could only make a reservation for that one day (90 days later) and you'd have to called again for today's reservation.

I love the 90 day slot! Makes it easier for people like me to go at a moments notice and still get into places!

I recently did my ADR's for April. I was a little apprehensive about the 90 days (vs 180). But I was able to get every ADR I wanted and the times I wanted. My list includes Ohana's, which was very difficult to get in the past with the 180 days.

Add me to the list of liking the new 90 day method :cool1:

I totally agree! :thumbsup2 It makes the system more fair, because not everyone knows six months out that they'll be going to Disney, let alone what they'll want to eat!! It gives people time to reserve their trips, and come up with dining ideas which may actually work out rather than be a disappointment.

I got all the ADRs I wanted, including CRT lunch, a late Rose and Crown dinner, and of course Le Cellier. I was even able to change it to a later time when we decided to do a later lunch earlier in the day. :goodvibes

I like it too. Got everything I wanted at the times I wanted!

I think it's a little more realistic for people to know where they are eating within 90 days. I can't imagine the amount of people that made their ADR's at 180 days and then never showed up!

I am glad to hear all the positive feedback. I have been a little worried as to whether it was going to be a good move or not :sad2: . I can make my ressies on Saturday so I am happy to hear good things! :thumbsup2

It's so much better now! I was able to get everything I wanted, too. And now I dont have to decide what we're going to eat 6 months in advance!:)

I like the 90 days too. I thought it was tough to have all our vacation planned on the day we made our room ressies. Now we've booked our room and are still talking about ADR's.
