Could we please get a moratorium on mistresses speaking out?

John Edwards mistress felt obliged to tell us that they are "soul mates" and that he hasn't fallen from grace but fallen into Grace.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards says she is helping him live "a life of truth" and the two remain in love even after their affair helped trigger his downfall from the pinnacle of U.S. politics.

"Everyone talks about how Johnny has fallen from grace," Rielle Hunter told GQ magazine in an interview released Monday. "In reality, he's fallen to grace."

In her first public comments since she became known as Edwards' other woman in 2008, Hunter didn't provide any details of their current status but said Edwards is a great father who wants to be there full-time for their daughter, now 2.

"I know he loves me. I have never had any doubt at all about that," Hunter said. "We love each other very much. And that hasn't changed, and I believe that will be till death do us part."

Could we go back to the lovely days when Mistresses did not have publicist?

My first thougt is that a mistress who took any other position would be ickier than one who takes the position that "he's awesome and we're in love".

John and Elizabeth Edwards had 4 children. One,sadly,died in a car accident.

Reille needs a dose of reality. I wish she would go on a live show, like the View or Larry King. I don't buy her tearful response to the photos...she is a photographer...she knew exactly what she was doing.

The only reason we haven't heard from her until now is all the hush money John and family were pouring into her account. He bought her a fancy house on one of the busiest streets in Charlotte. You think she would want to live a quiet life for the sake of her child.

We now make celebrities out of these losers. She probably will be pushing a reality show soon.


Elizabeth was a victim, but I feel it was wrong of her to continue their political ambitions after she found out about the affair. They could have easily made the reoccurance of her cancer the reason for him bowing out, but she was just as eager to pursue the presidency.

I feel sorry for her young kids. Her eldest died when he was driving home from their beach house. He flipped his jeep going at a high rate of speed. After his death Elizabeth wanted more children (probably to fill the void left by her son). She then gave birth two the young children when she was 50 years old. (donated eggs)

I know anyone can lose a parent at any age, but having those children at 50 and now to be suffering from a terminal cancer at 60 is horrific for those kids. Their father now lives at their beach house on a private island. I wonder how much quality time those kids ever got with their parents.

It's sad all the way around.

If it wasn't for the kids, I'd say this was hysterical and well worth following in the press just for the entertainment factor. The three of them all deserve each other. Elizabeth comes out smelling a bit better than the sleeze and the tramp, but not by much.

TRES creepy. And then the one with the baby on her stomach...it would have been sweet had it not been lumped in with those other sexually suggestive poses.
