If people in my bell choir got mad when they got help when they got lost, we wouldn't have anybody in the bell choir. Including me.

Don't waste any more headspace on her. She sounds "off" to me. Might not be dementia (I'm sure due to her age others have brought that up), but maybe she's always been weird. Either way, don't let it take up any more of your thought.
